Honestly, I'd love a Tesla, but even if I could afford one there's no charging anywhere near me.
Thing is all the other cars you mentioned look like something a greenpeace/peta goofball hippie would drive.I love the Model S but do not like the Model X. I'll wait to see what Modrl 3 looks like, but if it's more S than X I'll probably put a deposit down,
I will be surprised if it's out in 2018, though, and by the time it is out there should be plenty of 200+ mile range EV competition -- Chevy Bolt should arrive around that time, VW may have a 200 mile Golf EV, and Nissan's 200 mile Leaf might be out. Model 3 will have to be special to stand out.
The golf isn't half bad looking honestly. I like hatchbacks. I mean I want my next car to be a luxury sedan but it's not a necessity.Thing is all the other cars you mentioned look like something a greenpeace/peta goofball hippie would drive.

I won't buy any of the competitor EV models because of how ridiculous they look. I like the electric battery and the technological part of it but no way I want to be seen driving those. Hopefully Model 3 will be closer to S in design.
35k seems crazy for a car compared to charging 29k for the Roadster battery upgrade.
Yes.So there's literally NO info on specs etc. yet right? Just that's coming at that price in 2018 then?

You could charge it at your home, or a Supercharger.

I understand the desire for electric cars but you can buy new standard fuel cars with incredible efficiency with the convenience. I think electric cars face a very tough battle against these new cars.
.Yeah if gas stays cheap. How long do you expect that to last?
A tesla battery replacement is $12,000. How is that cheaper then a new engine?
What are you babbling about? The Golf is a great car and a classic.Thing is all the other cars you mentioned look like something a greenpeace/peta goofball hippie would drive.
Really wish there was hatchback offering :/
