Kinda weird the "Pop Vocal" category isn't in the main ceremony since it features a lot of big stars which would mean more screentime and ratings.

I misread it as "Whiteness Greatness" (partially because I thought it was an Oscars thread at first glance lol)

As for an on-topic post, I don't got one really :v I don't really listen to a lot of the popular music - not because I think it's bad, just doesn't appeal to my tastes as much. The only modern artist that I actively enjoy listening to these days is probably Beyonce

I don't know who just won but I want to know what they did
It was a composer from luxmbourg and a singer from Africa (came in late and not sure where in Africa)
Said it was a mix between classical music and classic African music, sounds interesting

edit; found ha

Just read Kendrick's meant to be doing Alright and The Blacker the Berry. So hyped to see TBTB live, hope it being clean doesn't hurt it too much. Alright sounds weird on the clean version.

Don't understand why they didn't record a version that replaces the n-word with brotha/sista. It would make it sound natural and make radio play easier.

Yeah for sure. The pre-chorus "When you know we been hurt been down before" part in particular sounds terrible with a gap left, or I think I saw Kendrick saying "hit-up" just to fill in the space once.

Maybe I'm just an ignorant foreign white guy, but I find it weird that the n-word even really qualifies as a swear word when it's a black guy saying it on tv.
