Barron needs to learn how to stand still
Hysterical fear mongering lmaoI'm not doing this with you again, Ekai... definitely not today of all days. Your hysterical fear mongering isn't gonna bait me for another back n forth to ruin this day.
Washington Metro said:Metro Ridership: As of 11am, 193k trips taken so far today. (11am 1/20/13 = 317k, 11am 1/20/09 = 513k, 11am 1/20/05 = 197k) #wmata
Probably one of the 8 grandkids thenNot her, like Barons age standing behind trump right now with navy blue jacket
Lol, that live overhead shot on CNN, nobody there.
Are this many prayers normal at an inauguration? Seems ignorant to pray Christian prayers in the USA where a large portion of your citizens don't even worship the same God.

Barron needs to learn how to stand still
Just goes to show this is a lot of peoples' first time paying attention to presidential politics and the inauguration.
I hope everyone continues to pay attention.
Make sure to ignore all that adultery stuff, God loves that I hearHe's God's choice because of his stance on abortion...but ignore pretty much everything else about him guys. I mean on abortion, God gives two thumbs way up!
I feel like I am watching a movie or something.
I'm just waiting for a precision air strike to wipe these fuckers out of existence.
I'm convinced something's off with that kid
That prayer was completely unnecessary.
It happens every time. Rick Warren gave a very theologically Christian prayer at the inauguration of Obama.People in here acting like this stuff doesn't happen every time a president is elected lol
Good thing you know better than Jefferson.
separate church and state already ffs
As a non-american I find it strange how intertwined the gov and Christianity still is. An atheist president that wouldn't say "God bless the USA" would make such a big scandal.
is he only going to have a 10 minute speech?

Reading a prayer from a tablet, how times have changed.

So are we going to see 3 doors down next?![]()
It's as traditional as everything else is since the US was founded. Even if you don't believe in it, it is simply tradition, like singing the national anthem before baseball games. Thinking there's some sort of menacing entanglement of politics and religion is nuts. So no, they don't.You don't think they have a valid point?
No-one ever watch an inauguration before? Swearing/praying has been the norm since the beginning, no?
"Such being the impressions under which I have, in obedience to the public summons, repaired to the present station; it would be peculiarly improper to omit in this first official Act, my fervent supplications to that Almighty Being who rules over the Universe, who presides in the Councils of Nations, and whose providential aids can supply every human defect, that his benediction may consecrate to the liberties and happiness of the People of the United States, a Government instituted by themselves for these essential purposes: and may enable every instrument employed in its administration to execute with success, the functions allotted to his charge. In tendering this homage to the Great Author of every public and private good I assure myself that it expresses your sentiments not less than my own; nor those of my fellow-citizens at large, less than either. No People can be bound to acknowledge and adore the invisible hand, which conducts the Affairs of men more than the People of the United States. Every step, by which they have advanced to the character of an independent nation, seems to have been distinguished by some token of providential agency. And in the important revolution just accomplished in the system of their United Government, the tranquil deliberations and voluntary consent of so many distinct communities, from which the event has resulted, cannot be compared with the means by which most Governments have been established, without some return of pious gratitude along with an humble anticipation of the future blessings which the past seem to presage. These reflections, arising out of the present crisis, have forced themselves too strongly on my mind to be suppressed. You will join with me I trust in thinking, that there are none under the influence of which, the proceedings of a new and free Government can more auspiciously commence." (George Washington Inauguration)
