I remember watching Baseball Tonight early this season and they had a segment on why Ichiro and the Mariners sucked. They claimed he was trying to hit a home run every time up. What was funny was before the show was over they had an update where Ichiro homered.

If they want to see what kind of stuff a pitcher has, get a fuckin' VCR. Ichiro's duty is to get on base and get in position to score runs. Plain and simple. Well, the playoffs are set in Fantasy baseball. The GA OT Loose Balls league race was TIGHT up until the end. I came in 2nd by 1/2 a game and earned a bye for the first week(take that, Joe!), and Miguel barely edges out Solrac for the last spot in the playoffs. Fifty's team made the playoffs despite the fact that he hasn't checked his team since... July 7th. Yeah.
Fuck I got owned in my other leagues...
Well, in Sven's league, I was already out of it, but had a SLIM SLIM SLIM chance...and didn't get it.
In the other, the 4-6 spots were pretty much up for grabs between the 4-8th spot. I ended up 7th after a 2-7-1 week.
But...I BEAT SOLRAC IN THE GA OT LEAGUE! BWAAAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHHAHAHA!!!

It looks like a Marlins home game will be played at Wrigley. Cubs get 4 games at Wrigley while Marlins get 2? Something is wrong. Cubs shot down every idea and yet they get their way, wtf! And if they actually flew down to Florida like they were supposed to, they could have actually got a game in or two.
Cubs pretty muched screwed the Marlins and the fans, including their own. Atleast the Marlins will sweep them on their own field.

That was a MLB decision. For both cancelling the games and rescheduling. Don't blame the Cubs.
Besides, you know Selig is gonna side with his NL Central pals. And you wanted them to fly down in the middle of the hurricane to play one game? Ridiculous. They now have to go to Florida for a double header on what would have regularly been a day off (Sept 20) between playing at Pitt and then going to cincy. So this is how it goes for them: Play in pitt, fly to florida for double header, then fly back to cincy for a game the next day. Instead of: play pitt, get day off, go to cincy. They are the ones getting screwed here. No need to make them come back a second time to Florida on an off day. Not their fault the Marlins have their stadium in hurricane country. More importantly, the Cubs actually play today! OMGWTF! Against the expos, they better come out of the gates smoking with all these days off they have had.
