I realize this is KC, but Mussina has 11 K's after 8. I really hope this means he's "fixed".
WTF...according to the website Garner named Lamb the starting 3B for the season earlier today, and he goes 0-5 tonight [he's been cold since our streak ended] and fucks up the game ending play...
Lamb has sucked the last 6 games...and his defense...ugh. Ensberg at least deserves a chance to start again after his injury.

i just don't know what the fuck he could have possibly said. i really don't.
nothing anyone could have said to him warranted a response like that. i mean, if he jumped in the crowd and punched THE guy who did it, it would be slightly better(though not by much), but just throwing a chair into the stands with tons of people there is indefensable. Like Reali said on ATH, it doesn't matter what the guy said.
and also, I find it ironic Rose gets banned for life for betting on baseball, but a guy like this is just gonna get suspended for some games.

Finally some pitching from our starting rotation. Good game, I love the current line-up with Werth in Left and Green on First. Hopefully we can get some good innings from Wilson Alvarez tommorow because he's been knocked around pretty bad in his last 3 starts. Finley and Werth with home-runs, Beltre seemed to be uncomfterable out there today.
Finally some pitching from our starting rotation. Good game, I love the current line-up with Werth in Left and Green on First. Temp Banned for Remedial Purposes
I've now decided I want the Cubs to win the wild card because it would be so much fun to see them have another playoff meltdown. To that end, I will continue to post pictures of the starting pitcher as long as they put up quality starts and the Cubs win.

Marlins have a double header today, starting at 3pm est. Pavano starts game one and the Marlins are using a 7th starter in game 2, Nate Bump. Game 2 is definitely going to be a tough one.

The Marlins need to play the Braves six times yet and the Phillies six times yet. Plus the Cubs in a double header. The Giants and Pads play each other plus LA.
It's coming down to the Cubs and Stros. Houston has 5 left with St. Louis and three against the Giants. Don't forget that the Stros have to play the Stros playa hatin Brewers 6 times yet! They'll probably sweep the Cards all six games just to lose to the Brewers six times! :lol
Cubs finish with PITTS today, have four at cincy, then the damn double header in Florida on what would have been their off day, then back to Pitts, then four more against cincy at home and finish with the Braves. All we need is a split in Florida and all will be golden. Although a sweep of the Fish would be fantastic.
