Holy shit... 113 pitches in 5 IP for Prior. Motherfucker was my first pick in the GAF league this year too. :(

P.S. That picture of Lima's wife needs to be reposted every day.

goddamit, Griese!
bases loaded with less than 2 outs? it doesn't matter...no one will score unless someone hits a grand slam. pathetic offense. HR or bust

11 runs. 10 off of HRs. imagine if the Cubs played in Petco. they'd be friggin screwed.

Heh, they would be a team with a ton of doubles. :p

And what is with Sosa? He may be heating up. W.T.F.

I know, what the hell? It's crazy though that even with the horrible season he's had, he still has a legitimate shot at 40 HRs. He's like Bonds -- everything or nothing*.

*except for every walk Bonds has, Sosa has a strikeout. :lol

Ohh, this is getting intriguing. I didn't know the Dodgers played the Giants six more times this year. I thought it was three.

Hmm, while the Dodgers, Giants, and SD beat each other up the Cubs can quietly secure that wild card spot!

I actually enjoy watching the cubbies play, but if the giants dont take the NL West (which they will undoubtly do) I will have to root for them for the wild card. But as the giants finally have a hot hitter other then Bonds (J.T. Snow) who is finally off his injury and starting at 1st (which he has been a gold glover at for like all his career), they will take the NL West from the Dodgers when they face them in a couple of weeks. This is an awesome year of baseball!

he doesn't take enough pitches.
Whoever came up with that 'theory' is a retard. It's not Ichiro's job to teach his teammates how to hit. The theory basically is saying that all the other Mariners hitters are worthless and need to depend on Ichiro to give them a clue on how to hit baseballs from the pitcher (and considering how bad off the Mariners are this year, that must be true. :p ). Any hitter that bad off needs to get back to the minors. These hitters have been in the majors for years. If they can't figure out how to adapt and hit the ball as it comes, they certainly can't call themselves 'professionals'.

I hope Ichiro breaks the record, then the nuts can come out and say "Rekord don't matter man! That foreigner hit too good! Teammates can't keep up!!"

And hurray for Randy Johnson passing Steve Carlton and becoming the lefty with the most strikeouts ever. Based on stats, he should get the Cy Young, but the Diamondbacks are so terrible this year, that should take him out of the running no matter how well he himself is doing.

And another save/game finished for John Smoltz! Only three more Games Finished needed to get that one year extension on his contract!

Edit: I didn't realize Clemens was second on the all-time list (4,287). Hopefully Johnson will outlast him and power past him.
