Okay! Impressions of the DS version, since Activision doesn't feel it's worth talking about!
If you liked Web of Shadows DS and especially Shattered Dimensions DS, then you should probably think about getting this. Despite changing developers, ASM DS is really, really similar. The only thing that's different from the outset (I've only played the intro level) is that enemies and Spidey himself are 2D spites, rather than 3D models from the other two games.
No combat moves unlocked, but you can uppercut a dude in the air, and juggle him, you have a regular combo move, and a slide attack. The levels are 3D and are big and open like Web of Shadows and SD on the DS.
The only thing I can say negatively about it, is that the artstyle they have for portraits when characters are talking is pretty horrible. It's KINDA like they tried to make characters from the Spectacular Spidey cartoon show, but failed misreably. Can't say much about the sound, because I had to play it silently.
Will play more tonight, but so far, I'm happy I bought it!
