Don't follow Twitter that much, but is there always a bunch of people thirsting for a follow each time a celebrity tweets? Those comments are hilarious.

Goddamn. What was Iggy's response? Can Iggy respond? Is she crying somewhere? Calling Charli XCX for another hit?

Prince deciding to pull his music from all streaming services EXCEPT Tidal is making me smile. That is exactly the kind of move he makes.

bitch I'm taking calls.
Lmao, someone posted this on Facebook to kick off the festivities today. Thought you all night like to read:

PSA: Family and Friends... For those of you partaking in the "turn up" on Saturday, July 4th,here are a few rules to keep in mind:

1. If you or your partner "renig" while playing spades because you're both intoxicated, and you begin cursing excessively, you will be escorted to your vehicle or we will call a cab to come take you home. Let's keep it classy, this is a kid friendly event! **Card games will end promptly at 1:00am**

2. There will be excessive twerking and dancing at this event, ladies wear your most comfortable shoes! Men, absolutely NO linen suites or Stacey Adams sandals! Let's be honest, who still wears those?!

3. There will be zero tolerance for parents who think they're leaving their kids, while they "go make a run", take they bad asses with you!

4. If anyone sees you at the party, hiding food of any kind, especially ribs, and steaks because you're afraid the people who didn't "put in" are going to eat it all, you will be asked to leave, and your plate stays!

5. If grown people are talking, please excuse your children from the conversation, with they nosey asses!

6. To my friends especially, there will be no holding of your hair, while you puke on the side of the house, put that ish up in a ponytail to save me the trouble

7. You must have fun, get wasted, and if you or your kids are afraid of fireworks, STAY AT HOME!

8. If you know you brought Miller High Lite, but you drinking Stella Artois, kill yourself!

9. To that drunk Uncle, please just sit your drunk ass in the corner passed out and don't try to start a fight with anyone, we ain't in the mood!

10. To that Uncle/family friend, please DO NOT try to holla at any of me or my sister's girlfriends, they don't want yall old asses, ya'll try it at every BBQ!

11. If you know you brought Dr. Thunder, or Mountain Lion, but you drinking Dr. Pepper and Mountain Dew, kill yourself!

Whats up fam! Since its almost Independence day celebrations, I have a question for people who reside in the states whether or not you are a citizen, have permanent residency or an immigrant waiting for your papers.

Do you feel american in this point of your life? What moment in time made you feel the most american in this country?

For me somehow I always felt more of a new yorker than an American. Living in NYC for most of my life has certainly made an impact in that feeling. This does conflict with my luso-african identity at times, but I think I have slowly become comfortable with being an American these few years. It took a lot of time and integration as a first generation immigrant.

The people who cape for Tidal cape for it hard. Jay's involvement got people acting like console warriors over it.

Born and raised in the States and my dad has worked for the Navy his entire career so I've always felt American. Only speak English even though my dad's family is entirely Chinese, but I'm like 4th generation American or something so even he doesn't speak it (Chinese).

Never felt more American than normal at any particular moment. Maybe when Team USA is playing Olympic basketball :p

I'm warming up to Tidal a bit since Apple Music dropped. At least Tidal can be said to have required some effort on Jay's part. Unlike Apple just bludgeoning its way into another industry with shitty, half-assed, bloated software and hordes of fanboys acting like Apple deserves to dominate because they're Apple.

Tidal's app is actually sleek and very usable, and they do have some interesting original content every now and again.

...still sticking with Spotify, though.

Beats 1 is pretty cool so far
when they don't have the filler DJs playing the same 5 songs over and over
but I'm sticking with Spotify too.

It's nothing to me other than my nationality. I don't have patriotism of any kind and as being black July 4th isn't anything but an excuse to go to a cook-out.
