I just looked up Extra Life. A cool venture but I don't think its the right venue? "Hey guys isn't this prototype cool? Rather than give money to help fight cancer, give money to us!". That seems scummy? Maybe the hope is that people would donate to cancer AND them but still if they are siphoning any money for themselves, which would be the point, I can't imagine that would be a good look.

Desperate times and all that...

Slayven, I need you to do me a favor. Compile a list of every superhero who can inexplicably make clothing. So far I've got Piccolo and Elsa from Frozen, and technically Mystique because she can for some reason make clothes appear that she wasn't wearing initially, unless those clothes are part of her skin in which case that's gross bro.

Now I'm just focused on Mystique. Would it be painful if she took off a shapeshifted coat? When Wolverine cut off her clothes in the first X-Men movie, what did he chop off? Did those pieces turn into skin? What were those claws originally made of? Can she shapeshift to grow pieces back since she can add extra appendages like the claws? Couldn't she potentially just keep healing herself all the time if she can manipulate her tissue whenever she wants? If she can copy voices, and she was somehow able to survive hearing Blackbolt's, would she be able to copy it? If she can make Wolverine's claws, could she just make like a knife hand? Couldn't she mix and match? Her changing her height in First Class makes me think that she can manipulate her skeleton to an extent as well. If she can manipulate bone, muscle, and skin tissue, couldn't she make bone armor? Does a mental block stop her from being the ultimate adaptive superbeing like it stops Iceman from realizing the full extent of his abilities of removing heat from an object?

Off the rip that would be a long list. Mystique is kind of a lame as shape shifters, she could never do anything but humanoids. And didn't get interesting until she got an upgrade a few years ago.

But she could be so strong. If she can alter her body at a cellular level she could potentially make bone armor and knife hands and it would be awesome.

One man's junk is another man's treasure
What is it with gaf and bathroom habits/hygiene?

Got a bunch of people turning on the water after they get in the shower.

smh

Nah, she's better as an infiltration specialist. Even with all that stuff, she'd still wind up jobbing to an X-Man (happens to Apocalypse all the time and he's pretty much the top tier of shapeshifters).

she could make a knife, but not armor. She is limited to her own mass.
There is levels to this shit.

Doesn't Apocalypse have the power to give himself more powers?

Yeah but that is because he been upgraded with Celestial tech, before that he was just a big strong goon.

Stop the goddamn match,

Remember when Darkseid got mugged?

Or when Thanos got arrested?

Or when Mr. Sinister got shoved and fell onto Rogue after she got knocked out and immediately died?

People really mad about the r mika change

Man, I knew November would be fun as it is, but damn, the meltdowns in that and the Xenoblade threads are just too good. I'm so glad I got approved in time for all this.

Wait..what happened to SFV?

R. Mika had an animation where she slapped her own bum before doing her super. The animation has possibly been changed so that the camera no longer zooms in on her bum as she does so. Riots in the streets, I'm just eating popcorn.

There was one guy who had a super meltdown and said something about how "man, fuck these feminists, women were better 10 years ago!" and that was just LMAO

They might have edited R. Mika Critical Art (the wishbone part and the butt slap). It's dumb because the Super looks kind of awkward now, the change was half-assed, the butt slap is actually in character for R. Mika and it doesn't change the costume in a way that would appease those who weren't fans of it. However, some number of people (not a ton but enough to be depressing) are acting like the World is ending.

Don't the female characters also have jiggle enabled on the player select screen?

Yeah, the physics and gravity on the Player 2 side of the screen are really wonky. Birdie's chain and someone else's hair are messed up as a result.

But it also gives the side effect of Chun Li having ridiculous breast physics. There was a whole thread about it recently.

I cracked up because there was an article on the Goddamn CBC Website about it.
