I have only ever gotten this from non-blacks who after talking to me on the phone meet me in person. I always take it as "I am surprised you're black" "You don't fit into my racist image of what a black person should be."

They used Ellen Paige's likeness for Ellie before she got wind of it, called them out on it while she was promoting Beyond 2 Souls and they changed that shit.
They lifted a Subway station map without permission. Sony stepped in and did the right thing.
Nadine from Uncharted 4 was an obvious lift of likeness from Battlestar actress Kandyse McClure. At the time I did a search for "South African born actresses" and she was in the top ten slideshow. I imagine the artist at ND did the same. That controversy was entangled with what people felt was the bigger issue, that black South African Nadine was being acted by a white American woman. It was buried and dismissed with the quickness.
So this bit of undeniable plagiarism is hit number four in the span of two games.

You know I dislike when people call character stupid or irrational when it makes sense for them to act the way they act within the narrative. I cannot stand it. Its probably just me not being so invested to outright hate a character because I tend to base things on what the plotting gives me instead of the moment to moment things characters do. Idk Shit is stupid.
