I like the idea behind cyberpunk...the idea that technology infiltrates society to the point where people are willing to go to backalley docs to get some metal interfaces shoved into them...basically an the inroads toward the inevitable collapse of humanity. Has a underlying hopelessness that makes for good fiction. When that stuff gets glamorized too much and basically becomes sci-fi magic I tap out, tho.

I don't remember that, I do remember them showing the morph ball has a diameter of around 1m, so despite people thinking it's some tiny ball it's in fact a huge ass ball

Depends on how many stereotypes were involved and the number of black and brown people in the office.

(Number of black people x Number of stereotypes) / Number of white people = The "nigga you're making us all look bad" level

When Martin Shkreli was arrested the majority of my friends on facebook were openly planning Mission Impossible style heists to steal OUATIS.

We've only had one instance where someone did something embarrassing:

One black dude got hired and fired in the span of two weeks. He was a self hating black, he hated black people, he hated black women especially and loved white women. He told two black ladies here how much he hates black women and how they disgust him, he only paid attention to the white ladies if he was being taught anything.

As I said he got fired fairly quickly but he was shocked that it happened, when he was asked to turn in his key card he refused and wouldn't do it. They had to have security escort him out and send out an email to the entire office telling us to not let him into the office since he just got fired.

Sure enough this fool comes back to the next day and tries to sneak into the office a few times throughout the day...

I now think about it I got hired here 8 years ago there hasn't been a single full time black male here since, there's only about 2 of us left right now...

Ok fam I just got called in to "testify" at a disciplinary hearing, turns out this lady that I worked with faked her qualifications and fake references. I'm part of a very small IT team (6 members) so its very easy to notice small things and she really couldn't do much of anything for someone so "qualified". I think she'll be gone by next week most likely, sucks that it had to be another black person

The American Idiot musical sounds interesting but I don't think I could make it through it. Too much angst. I like Green Day but when you put a RENT level of sadness plot onto it, it goes slightly over my angst tolerance.

smmfh. You can get away with faking stuff like that running for president, but not in a tech field.

It happens. "Fake it, until you make it" is real. I faked my way all the way to a Director position at an oil company. Didn't stretch the truth as far as that lady did, it seems, but definitely made myself sound better than I was.

I'm fully expecting him to be on camera taken to prison sometime in the future, and he looks into the camera and says "i will pay 10 million dollars to who ever gets me out of here". Dude is cliched enough to be dropping lines from SWAT like that.

I did notice that as well during the crossover "event". That nervy, almost always pissed cos he's out of his element, and getting sick every time he gets a ride from the Flash and mad about it.
I can't wait for that particular black guy trope to fade away.
