I'm fine with it, for the most part. Can't stop white people from wearing other peoples clothing styles even if it's tied to cultural identity. So long as it doesn't end up with them suddenly leaning to west African religions, and tying wearing a dashiki and west African dance rituals. I once went to a zen center and they had a festival and there were white women dressed geisha doing a traditional Japanese dance including tea ceremony while some dude beat a giant taiko drum. It had nothing to do with Zen or Buddhism. There was only one Asian person in that room and he was Vietnamese. When white people treat culture as some weird cosplay fetish or something to replace their homogeneous culture identity, that's when it becomes a problem.
So a simple dashiki ain't much of an issue. It's not like white people haven't worn dashiki's before either. Hippies wore them.
Speaking of dashiki's and culture, what I love about the dashiki the most is its story of cultural exchange between Black Americans and west African's.

My late self just saw some of those running man challenges and the first thing that came to mind was "This is some stuff The New Day will do with the other wrestlers.".

Going back and playing Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn, which I never finished for some reason.
Can someone tell me why the Dawn Brigade is just ass? Not even getting into character stuff, as playable units they're awful. Like half of the units you get to control in that opening chapter are liabilities, and half of the ones that AREN'T are pre-promoted units that suck up all the XP.
I'm only two or three missions into the Crimea part, and it already feels way better.

But when you ask many white people about their background, you get "my mother's people are from Croatia and my father's people are Czech" or "I'm Irish, English, and German on my mom's side and Irish and Italian on my dad's side", etc, etc, etc. Some will just straight up say, "I'm a mutt." On a certain level, many "pure" white folks are products of miscegenation. They should just relax and appreciate diversity.
