I have 3DS, Wii U and PC.

Everything I'm going to recommend is old, because I almost never have money for games:

Turned based strategy - my only experience is Advance Wars 1, but that game frustrates me to no end and I don't think it would be right to subjugate Sturm onto any person.

Turn based RPGs - If you haven't played these yet, give one a try: Earthbound, Pokemon Blaze Black 2, Dragon Quest V, Final Fantasy IX

Shmup - Firepower 2000

Haven't played rhythm or puzzle games in years.
