Not by itself, but it's very bad for pregnant women and cam cause paralysis in everyone else. It's a light virus outside of that, but I don't think it has any cures. It will cause birth defects in pregnancies, but for others it causes fever, rash, joint pain, red eyes, and a very not fun time.

However, it can affect the brain and auto-immune system and trigger deadly issues that way. One guy died from a bleeding disorder triggered by Zika.

Was originally planning a DR trip to celebrate my home boy getting married, for this upcoming week. His fiancee put the brakes on due to zika. Understandable.

My 2nd choice was Miami. We ended up picking north carolina. I would have been hot if we had to cancel. Luckily, we didn't pick Miami.
