That's cool. I respect that. It surprises me though when I see young heads getting amped to spend 20 bones on a tat from a suspect location. Like you, if I were to ever get a tat, I'd make it an investment. I at one point was kinda trying to find some sort of African motif, sort of in the vain of how when you see an islander with authentic tats from home, but I don't know of anything I like and I don't think I could really commit anyways.

I'm not that dark so I could do color, but I choose not to because if you look at people who have color tattoos you notice the reds, blues and yellows tend to fade a lot more then just the black ink. I got my first in 99 and it still looks dark as hell. I just dont want to have to get involved in the getting touch ups process.

I get where he is coming from. It must be annoying having to constantly reconfirm that yes, there aren't enough black (or really, minority in general) actors in Hollywood. We shouldn't stop talking about it, of course, but I feel where he's coming from.
