Would you agree that this is a social symptom and not a biological one? I personally place attraction on an ethnic level a peg below racism (a significant distance between the pegs, but a peg none the less), considering that they both stem from social and environmental influences IMO.
And while your utopia sounds great, it unfortunately isn't going to work like that. Instead, we'll get an esquire thread where Rihanna or Zoe Saldana are labeled the hottest woman on the planet, and then subsequently receive a flood of rebuttals, 99.9% of which will be of white women.

To be honest, I don't really agree. When my dick jumps it's functioning at a primal level and social conditioning ain't even in the equation. I can't tell you why women with black or blonde hair drive me wild whilst women with brunette or red hair need some extra 'pow' to get me going (to be honest, I'll take a 8/10 blonde over a 10/10 brunette every time). I can't tell you why I like my women chunkier than society says is attractive (I'm no BBW chaser but my girls need some meat on 'em). I can't tell you why Asian women are almost sexless to me. It's not something I really need to understand because discriminating over potential mates or eye-candy harms nobody as long as the reasons are kept to myself and as long as that discrimination doesn't spill over into my real-life interactions with women. All I'd say is that I don't feel there's anything more to it than a straight eyes-to-dick connection. My brain only gets involved once I'm actually weighing up a real life partner and by that time, I've already narrowed it down to chicks that fit my physical profile.
I'm fucking shallow, basically.
That's exactly what would happen, it's a shit show and I will pin that one largely on social conditioning. We all lose out because people can't keep the negativity to themselves.

The only real prejudice I have about atttractiveness is, I know its not very common but, I don't find most blonde women attractive.

Biological attraction along ethnic lines doesn't even make sense. It's social interaction and media consumption, and nothing more. If you took some random white dude, raised him in an all black neighborhood, and subjected him to nothing but Tyler Perry films, I guarantee his sexual tastes once being released into a more ethnically diverse world would harp back to his upbringing.
The constant bombardment of white people as the epitome of beauty within the media is the biggest offender, and it's then reinforced in many cases with demographics in one's immediate area that make the reinforcement of that belief easier. It's no different than any society's views on gender roles.

I think it's a bit of both (biological and social). Until I was 10 I grew up in an area where white was a minority, but after that was in a predominantly white area (I'm white). My tastes are anything but blonde.
Since I was knee high to a grasshopper I've had a preference for blondes. Long before I was exposed to any sexualised imagery whatsoever. To this day I remember the two blondes that rocked my world in primary school (age 6) and I remember turning down their brunette friends that wanted to be my girlfriend even though I knew those golden goddesses were out of my reach.
I can't dispel your charge of socialisation because obviously I've been brought up in an environment that has told me that the ideal woman is white. Having said that, I also grew up at a time when Grace Jones was the epitome of the powerful woman and Nina Simone was probably the face I stared at most (on her album covers). Black women weren't really demonised here in the UK, even if they didn't get a thousandth as much exposure as white women. I've never been 'turned away' from black women in any way. I received virtually no exposure to Asian women until I was in my early teens and we've never clicked even though there are no negative cultural connotations towards Asian women that I know of.
One thing I perhaps ought to stress is that I'm not saying I don't find black women attractive, I'm just saying I find white women more attractive so if I posted 10 'Hot Women' pictures, all 10 would be white blondes (with thick thighs and wide jaws. Yum). That might give off the impression that I haven't appreciated the black women posted in this hypothetical hot women thread, even if I have.
Ultimately though, there are a lot of people that desperately want the world to know who they don't find attractive and for that reason a hot women thread is a bad idea.

My posts aren't directed towards you then. There's a difference between a preference for a particular creed of woman and an outright refusal to associate yourself sexually with anything but X type of woman, and it's the latter camp I have issue with. We've had threads on this very same issue before (I think you may have been a part of them?) where people made claims that they only find X women attractive, and would never date Y or Z women under any circumstances.
There's nothing wrong with preferences. I personally love Blasians and Mulattoes, but in no way shape or form does that preference dominate my life in such a way where I'd go out of my way to pursue these types of women, at the detriment of any chance with women of differing ethnicities. I personally find beauty within all ethnicities, and wouldn't find issue in dating any of them. But then again, I'm multi-ethnic (Black, Spanish, Japanese, Italian and Irish) and was born in an all-black neighborhood for half of my life, and lived a city that was 30% white, 30% hispanic, 30% asian and 10% other thereafter.
