is it wrong that my favorite chicken is usually just the wings from the Chinese spot? for added struggle points the best tasting wings near me comes from a spot with a C-rating so you have to choose taste over health when ordering from there.

More often than not, it's those smaller, non-chain places that have the best stuff. I forgot the name of this small hotel me and the fam were staying at in La Lafayette years ago, but they had THE BEST PANCAKES I'VE EVER EATEN. Every other pancake since just hasn't matched up. I regret not getting the recipe that old lady used, because I swear that shit tasted like magic...
I don't have any legit chinese spots around my way so I wouldn't know. A lot of people swear by gettin "the nigga special" though.

This. It's a shitty attempt at operant conditioning.
My brother used to pull this shit a few years ago. The rule in the home at the time was that everyone washes the dishes as they use them; but my mother and my brother used to work late, so they'd eat dinner late, and I'd take care of the dishes later. This worked out pretty well until one weekend, where my brother had emptied the fridge of some old food, and stacked a ton of dishes in the sink in the middle of the day. The rest of us didn't get back until late at night and everyone was dead tired, so we all steered clear of the kitchen (hell, I skipped dinner so that I wouldn't have to deal with them until the morning), and when he came back, he saw the same stack of dishes he left in the sink hours ago. He wasn't having that, so he takes them out of the sink, stacks them into a little tower and puts them in front of my door, which is at the end of a super narrow hallway that forks into my room and the master bedroom of the apartment.
Some time after this, I had to use the bathroom in the middle of the night, so I tried to make my way to the light switch in the hall, in pitch darkness. I tripped over the tower, busted the left side of my face on the edge of a wall, fell on a glass cup (and broke it) and a fork (which got lodged into my side) and broke a few plates. The noise from my fall woke everyone up, and at 2 AM they were treated to the sight of me sitting in the middle of ceramic shards, pulling shards of glass out of my ribs.
I really don't know why I didn't slug him in the mouth then and there; I guess I was just too shocked from the stupidity of it all. In any case, he apologized, which is nice. But he still pulls this shit from time to time, which pisses me off. He only stacks them on the stove now, but it's still annoying, and he doesn't even bother to scrape the food off of them anymore, so the food congeals and gets crusty, which makes the dishes even harder to clean. And he does it whether anyone else uses dishes or not. I know this because my mom and I used paper plates and cups for 2 months straight after I fell on my ass, and he'd still use the good dishes and cups, and he'd still stack them on top of the stove. The new rule for dishes in the house is to clean them before he does something stupid with them, and whenever he tries to stack them where I can see him doing it, I give him shit about it until he washes them himself because fuck that passive-aggressive bullshit.

Wow that is not only immature as hell but downright dangerous. I would have shamed my sibling into doing the dishes for months if they tried to pull a stunt like that.
The rule sounds like only you do the dishes and everyone else can do whatever the hell they want.

It was pretty stupid. But he's my brother, and while that little episode ended badly, he usually tries to look out for me. I couldn't really bring myself to hold it against him for too long.
They wash them at breakfast, and whenever they come home for lunch. I only wash dishes at bulk at night, really. I actually don't mind it, because they work hard and they're too tired to do much when they get home.
I remember hearing Hu and Silk say that live; at first I thought "that name's fucked up," then I realized that I order that all the time and I thought "OH MY GOD, HE'S RIGHT."

Yeah, my dad is was born in Nigeria, and my mom was born in the DR. Im the first one in my family to be born in the US
Ive wondered that too. Im sure that those ancestry.com type things dont work for anyone other than white people.

Is it even really possible to do that? Wouldn't they need to sequence every random tribes DNA in order to compare? And not to say that they'd cheating people or anything, but if they wanted too, they could pretty easily just lie
My friend paid for something a few years ago, I think they traced him to some areas of Nigeria and his dad is Nigerian and mom Jamaican. I mean, he had some ties to family members already, I guess he wanted to know more? He had the cash to spend anyway.
They could just lie, which is why I wouldn't even do it unless I had some kind of trust in the process or results. So according to your class, are people still on the roles about dna ancestry tracing?

I think I finally found a cool Christmas gift for pops.
Im impressed that its that accurate. Nigeria is definelty one of the more populous countries, so it makes sense if they had enough info to trace back to a tribe there. At the same time, were so mixed here in the states that theres bound to be Nigerian in everyone, so itd be a pretty easy link.
Well most companies are using it for disease and risk factors and the like. Theyre pretty confident in teh accuracy so far. But its interesting to note that alot of specialists feel that people people are so diverse, theres not a signifigant difference in races. So it makes me wonder what kind of info do they attach a tribe too when each member of the is so
different from the last. Especially since Africa is considered the most genetically diverse continent.
