I'm probably not the best person to ask since I've only the read the screenplay and won't be able to catch a screening until early next week, but from what I read in the script, the film is fairly heavy handed in its criticism of Capitalism and embracing of Socialism. It's pretty damn Liberal in terms of the underlying social issues being explored. It touches on class/(re-)distribution of wealth, immigration, healthcare, capitalism, etc. and it's not exactly cryptic in doing so. It does it in a way that is lazily blatant and in your face.
