I watched Chan Wook Park's Stoker last night. Shit fucking sucks.

It's stylish, I'll give it that...
I enjoyed it. The cinematography was downright gorgeous, and the narrative was pleasantly mysterious and meticulous to unfold like a vintage Hitchcockian thriller. I found it to be better than most of his Korean films too, except JSA which I consider to be his only legitimately great Korean film.

I did say mid-movie...the story is balls but Park can direct his ass off. It was nice to look at.
JSA is great, I got it through Netflix without knowing anything about it. Just wanted to go through all of Park's films.

Steve has always been a very level-headed poster and while I don't agree with the blanket statement he made, it reads more like an attempt at pre-moderation than espousing a ban on anything.
Zimmerman has not once expressed any remorse or offered a single apology therefore I will absolutely always know him as murdering scum, not to mention a bigot and a liar. Any subsequent or previous heroism does not change that perception and never will. I feel like people have every right to continue to bring up the murder he committed in the face of any discussion or attempt to absolve his character.
