I think I'm looking forward to seeing how the Defenders shape up more than anything else Marvel is doing right now. The format should allow for a lot of extra character work you can't get in the movies. We're getting a live action Jessica Jones, which I never would have imagined happening.

If you aren't too busy, I got a favor. I know a number of times you all have linked in threads about jails encrustation and arrest of minorities, articles and graphs about the disproportionate number of minorities vs the white majority.

If you could link that stuff to me that would be stellar.

I promise no happy birthdays, I just need to get something done now before its absolute last minute, and I can't work on it at the moment I am working on something else, but at least gathering some background info before I start could help the thing go faster.

1st and 2nd season still remain the best.

If i get a chance to go to a dinner and meet Bill Clinton, and I shake hands with him, what should I say? If he givers my wife a flirtatious wink and smile, can i troll him?

I would want to say something like, 'It's good to meet the first Black president.' But that may be over the line. And I probably shouldn't say anything like, 'Good to meet you, monica.'

Although, all bets are off if he flirts with my wife.

So I just found out that a Church's Chicken is gonna be opening up in my building. Renovations has been going on since spring of last year for the whole first floor And it should be done by the summer time. Which means the new places (including Church's Chicken) should be up by the Fall.

What should I be looking out for? I've never been to one. And I'll probably say this again when it actually opens.

According to both sides, he couldn't keep up with the schedule and they agreed to do the show without him.

IMO, I think he was done with the show after Season 3 (which was supposed to be the last season based on news at the time and the tone of the season 3 with Huey constantly saying he was retiring/retired) and he wanted to move on to other things like the Black Jesus TV show, but Sony asked him to do Season 4. He agreed to it and signed the contract for one more season, but because of his lack of interest and focus on other things, Sony did the season without him.

My kid got to school and must have called within 15 minutes. We got an email later about how they thought 'it might be good for parents to come pick them up'. I read that and laughed. Must be very privileged to think some parents can come and just pick their kid up around 730 am. Sheeeit. I pay taxes so y'all can watch him. Light a candle or let the shade up. Fuck up out of here.
