The title is horrible...... just fucking horrible. Part of me doesn't want to give it the time of day because of how bad that title is....

but the cast isn't the worse. It has my Tracee Ellis Ross so I'm hoping it has a bit of a "girlfriends" vibe to it.

Went down to Rocky Mount, NC this weekend and had Cookout for only the 2nd time ever. A BBQ Chicken sandwich, fries, and a large Cheerwine soda for only $5. It was delicious until my mood got killed upon finding out that RM's mall doesn't open up until 12pm because everyone is in church lol.

I don't know what it is about Japanese interracial porn, but the black dudes always look extra grimey. Like they wait outside LA county jail or a Chief Keef concert to recruit them.

The show looks really bad from the trailer. Considering there aren't any black family shows on network TV right now, I hope it at least performs well and there's more to the show than the trailer suggests.

It would have been nice though to have gotten a show about a family that "happens" to be black, vs a show about a black family dealing with black issues.

it's Wilmore's 2nd attempt at making "The Bernie Mac show" except that he isn't as hands on (so can't leave before the show is over) this time b/c of his new show on comedy central

I just want a black Seinfeld type of show. Let's forget about the struggle for once and just do normal shit in a everyday life. This is like my pet peeve when it comes down to shows nowaday with black folks...its the same shit. Suave dudes in overly tight shirts and pants hanging out with more tightly shirted dudes while the ladies talk about them tightly shirted dudes. I want a show where we are time traveling, a IT crowd type of show with nerds, and etc.

People shit on Homeboys in Outer Space like they really should, but forget the fact that it was outside of the boundaries of the struggle. For once folks need to think out of the box instead of this whole "Tyler Perry lolz struggle is real I can't find a good man/woman" shit.

Agree with you. Donald Glover and Danny Pudi were practically in their own awesome little show on Community, one that was more interesting than the usual Jeff/Annie/Britta romance bullshit. Even when they were all in on some silly antics, those two took it to another level. I would watch a 30-minute sci-fi series with the two of them that drops the "this is all imaginary" pretense.

I agree. It's one of the reasons I shy away from Tyler Perry movies now. I've grown tired of the constant drama and struggle. It would be nice to see more creative ideas.

i think i might just hold off and get it at release in a bundle or something. 2 months is a long time and if im spending that kind of money i'd like to play the game in the immediate future

might just keep to dc universe for a while. maybe try out that new gundam game
