A month away from release and the best thing anyone has to say about it is how pretty it looks in small gifs

I'm looking at all these racing games, and two racing games I really want new entries to, may not ever get new entries.

I feel like persona is becoming more and more of a thing, and some point soon " persona will sell more than _______" might be kinda unfair.

There are people arguing over the web whether they should take SMT off the boxes because persona is bigger than SMT with its own set of spin offs. And that they don't the label for it to be associated it with it. Interesting stuff.

I refuse to play it ever again. I quit the first week after launch, due to the game kind of being kinda shit, and now that it's good - I ain't trying to relive Middle School and fuck up at life due to a Diablo addiction.

That's saying something, but damn I wouldn't be surprised. SO looks good but I have no idea if it'll sell, and I don't see a single damn incentive to buy DriveClub instead of just keeping the PS+ version, maybe playing it will make me want more but I don't see much.

Can't say I like making predictions on sales since I usually dgaf about that shit.

Lately I have been having a lot of these topics on my facebook to the point I'm getting ready to delete people/facebook period. It seems like people don't understand why we are upset and why is that they want to say some bullshit like "I am white it happens to us too and nobody complains". The only 2 issues I see are 1. PS+ edition. From the moment they announced it a good chunk of people put it into their minds "cool don't have to buy it then". They should have just announced a demo, which is what the PS+ version is an extended demo.
2. Lack of depth. The game has a small amount of cars, no customization ( body kits, performance parts), and the decals are pre made, so no user creation. So its going to come down to the community being amazing because there will be nothing pulling you into the game except for the driving, which could be great or horrible depending on the quality of the people playing.

If it comes after launch is irrelevant as to the issue of the game that's shipped. If the legs aren't long enough, or if people get there fill of it with the PS+ version it won't matter because the community will have moved on.

The content is really a lesser issue than the PS+ version IMO when it comes to that games success.

Thinking on It like this; Those games will do much better than intended due to the fact that a lot of the killers like Evolve, Shadow of Mordor, Assassin's Creed, etc. Have all been pushed forward pr ahead of schedule. October is mostly full of new IPs with no established fanbase/very small fanbases. I think its a gpod think that, once agaij, all of the killerd will be in November instead.

Hell even Bayonetta has a fighting chance to be a really good seller.

Lies, the 90s were a time of infinite wonder in comics. Where heroes were no zeros, and they were tough as nails. Plus you could call then when all else fails.

Jesus this mission I'm on. Never in Enemy Unknown did I have to deal with the hell that is this UFO supply ship mission in Enemy Within. Holy shit.

-Set up a breach: one team from the front, the other from the side. I open the door and see like two teams of mutons (half armored) and a berserker.

Whatever, they don't een know about the squad on the left.

I engage and try and get some better positioning.

-The muton squad called up some more armored homies that get flanks. They kill the people with medkits

-Trying to fall back and put some more work in. Some soldiers panic, and some die.

-Pretty sure I heard mechtoids in the distance.

Christ. I'm scared that I'll run into hardbody outsiders or that shielded sectoid chief or whatever.

man its funny you say this. i was playing on classic today - haven't played in months.

was doing pretty good too. couple missions of no injuries even. that fucking mechanics garage though... straight up deathtrap. somehow by moving up one pillar i triggered 2 thin men, 2 seekers, and 3 floaters (that were somehow fucking behind me.

and i was cocky about it. not going to lie - i have seen worse

but a single move being on space off threw my entire group. i put my lead assault next to a half-cover car instead of the full-cover meld canister next to it. so of course the thin man shot his neck off and left him bleeding out in front my trainee sniper

of course my plan to have him use close combat specialist on the seekers while my other assault flanked went to shit

of course the floater drops into my sniper's blindspot and de-wigs my 35/82 rookie

of course the surviving assault gets caught in the bullshit of a 1x1 full cover obstacle proving full cover to the enemy and herself (meaning the enemy kills you every time and laughs about it)

of course my crappy sniper spends the next 2 turns getting strangled out in a corner while the floaters hit me with the coldest YEETs

This is why I went through hell to get this game again. If you cats ain't playing that Xcom you missing out. The most satisfying feeling I got in the last couple days I was performing the "Exalt escort" mission. I just recovered the fugitive and was walking him to the evac point when you get ambushed by thin men who of course on arrival go into overwatch. Now the issue is I had a poisoned support rookie and my assault was too far off to assist. The support was in overwatch, the camera goes behind and shots wide. Misses even though it's right there. But I totally forgot I had a gene modded sniper sitting on a building in Overwatch. The way the shot took that thin man's head clean the fuck off. Giggling pimp. Giggling.

Love the game.
