The 73-year-old Daniel M'Mburugu was working in his potato garden near Mount Kenya in the centre of the country when the animal, apparently aggressive, hurtled from nearby grass and charged towards him.

"It let out a blood-curdling snarl that made the birds stop chirping. I froze for some seconds, then it dawned on me that death was staring at me on the face," he told the Standard Newspaper.

M'Mburugu, a peasant farmer, dropped the machete he was carrying and forced his hand into the leopard's mouth, pulling out its tongue in an act of self-defence, according to the report in the daily.

"A voice, which must have been from God, whispered to me to drop the panga (machete) and thrust my hand into its wide open mouth, I obeyed," he said, explaining that the leopard sank its teeth into his wrist, but would not let go.

As the struggle continued, M'Mburugu realised the animal's "breathing was belaboured", prompting him to keep pulling the tongue.
Those African cats are next level. American Aggressive step is the beginning of a manga, African Aggressive step would be post training AND tournament level.

I'm pretty sure he wasn't thinking of his potential economic losses during that situation
Nah fam, he was totes thinking, "Ah a leopard is about to attack. I don't want to use my machete on this creature. The upcoming season looks to be a dry one and I don't want to ruin my machete. I foresee much more harsh usage out of it because of the lack of moisture. I should instead use my arms, they're not as important in the grand scheme of things. If I lose this machete though, my family will suffer for it financially."

Is this gonna be the old dude I find in the mountains next to a waterfall that's gonna train me?

How is Samurai Champloo? Watched Afro Samurai a while ago and enjoyed it,

Worth getting?

One of my favorite animes, so yes. Most definitely yes.

Thing that gets me about that spider isn't even the fact that it's like a foot across. It's the length of the hairs on its legs. Motherfucker is the yeti of spiders.

Jungle spiders gotta be huge and dangerous if you think about all the other animals that could eat it for dinner otherwise.

Nature in general is pretty crazy in spots where we haven't been able to wipe it out yet.

Family, I know they grow and thrive because of their environment but that poses the question. ...

What could possibly be in the deep jungle that could cause that thing to grow that big? If that's predator/prey then what else is out there keeping them in check? Marinate on that shit.

That spider has to basically deal with primates, jaguars, anacondas, boas and pythons. It's a product of a very ferocious environment.
