The t sounds in those words make sense because it sounds natural. Forza doesn't need any t sound, it sounds natural as is.
Actually, even if it's closer, the most proper pronounciation would be swee-koh-den, since the "u" sound would be de-emphasized so the first three letters run together.soo-ee-ko-den
I say day-iss Ex (no Z sound), but how do you pronounce gemini?"Dee-us" Ex and "jem-ineye"(gemini) are annoying.
Blast Core.Blast Corps as "Blast Corpse", which is probably wrong.
I did it that way until I learned his Japanese name is bullet. From Final Fantasy VII:

Natural to you maybe. A lot of non-english speaking people pronounce pizza without the t and I've heard people call Ezio easy-o.
The t sounds in those words make sense because it sounds natural. Forza doesn't need any t sound, it sounds natural as is.
Being a English speaker Forza rolls of the tongue easily as is.
Because you get to decide things for a language that's older than you are, even if it is being assimilated into another one. These words aren't just being pulled out of thin air.The t sounds in those words make sense because it sounds natural. Forza doesn't need any t sound, it sounds natural as is.

Heh, I was just thinking about that too, because of this thread. I've also heard it pronounced like Eh-van-jeh-lion. Sorta like saying evangelize. Not strictly game related, but Evangelion is pronounced "Eve-Anne-Gell-Ee-In." Not "A-Van-Gel-Ee-In." The original word goes back to Ancient Greece and there're exact instruction on how to properly pronounce this word. People will try to claim that Hideaki Anno didn't use that word an just made the word up independently, but he referenced the Greek meaning of bringing good luck.
The one negative to learning Japanese: it becomes really annoying to listen to people pronounce things wrong.
It's ee-co, not eye-co.
