Only a few shows have sold out so far where I'm at. I'm sure most will but I wouldn't pay for the remaining seats.

how come my theater didn't give me a seating chart like this? i truly hope that I didn't get completely shitty seats.

I refuse to believe the Total Film score until I see a full review posted.

I will keep expectations as low as possible for as long as I can for fear of being Spidey 3'd.

Try for Monday or Tuesday (23 or 24th) during the early afternoon shows (12-1230 hrs). I didn't realize that it was pretty long ago when cineplex allowed for booking of the tickets. I didn't get good seats till 24th myself and then also only the 12:30 show. Btw, are you in GTA?

A1 do it.
Neck strain and eye strain.

Yea, I can never figure how or why people sit there. It's insane. I remember getting fucked while going for Avengers and not knowing that Cineplex suddenly decided to change regulation for IMAX and allowed reserving seats the preceding weekend. I remember sitting on Row G and it gave me massive head buzz.

I really hate the idea of no reserved seatings. It's just a way of showings selling out faster at the expense of customer comfort, it's pretty fucking rotten.

I'm actually the opposite. Best seats should go to the people who arrive first at the showing. The other problem too is some theaters don't have proper seating charts online. I purchased tickets one time and selected the seats only to have the very first row, all the way to the left. Ended up getting a refund and just seeing the film at a regular theater at that point.

I have tickets for Monday night. I was also late on reserving seats and did not want the seats that were left. I also am going with a group of people so Monday was the day. I'm in the GTA, that chart is for IMAX Coliseum Mississauga.

You better be grateful. You only get one...

Jim Gordon: I never said, "Thank you."
Batman: [looks back to Gordon] And you'll never have to.

It really makes no sense. Book your ticket first and then stand in line for hours first ..

I just read that book yesterday, and uhhh, didn't think it was that great.

I thought it was fun. It wasn't a life changing Batman story. I thought the take on Alfred and Harvey Bullock were both fantastic.

I came for the origin tale, ended up liking the side characters who normally don't get enough content.

Yeah, Alfred was my favorite thing about the book. Bruce was such a whiner though, was very jarring.

Haha, I am going there as well tuesday for 1230 show. We had great seats at Colossus at vaughan till I discovered that Coloseium had the largest IMAX screen. Bought tickets there and lost a few places for the centre seats (11,12,13) as opposed to (14,15,16) at Colossus.

As a Colosium newbie, can you tell me how the IMAX experience is there?

Got to Avengers 1 & 1/2 hours early(normally a good amount) and the first 2 rows were all they had left.
was near cross eyed the entire drive home.

I kind of liked that as well. Like I said, it's not going to go down as one of the greats, but I liked it. I'm also a sucker for completed volumes released alone in comparison to the individual issues.

It would be hard. What was the last 15/70 native wide release movie?

Digital IMAX is pretty blah

Yea. I remember that. It was so hard to focus when a lot of action was taking place. Also, sitting at that distance makes the screen look like its tapering off at the top end.

I have been to both Colossus and Coliseum and I would say that they're pretty similar.

He was taking advantage of a situation and trying to protect his family.

Did the Joker even threaten his family? All of the people he planned to kill were warned somehow. I think it's just a stupid plot device they came up with to end the chase scene in a cool way.

lol, I never understand the attention this guy gets.

He said A.I. was the greatest movie ever made. Seriously.

At least one can debate about A.I.

He loves Bay movies while trashing all of Nolan's films. But he is a troll to the core and its best if people ignore him. Its just that his views are so out there that its bound to get attention.

How reliable of a reviewer is Total Film?

Is a 5 star rating from them great?

I was late to MI4 in IMAX due to some friends who insisted on getting dinner the very last minute claiming no way there is a huge line for the movie. We got in and barely got 4 seats in a row in the first row in front of the screen. Couldn't even enjoy the movie.

I'd much rather show up early and wait for a great seat than ruin the experience by destroying my neck and eyes.

Joker kills multiple people in the movie without sending warnings. Also, if it's somewhat common knowledge that Gordon works with Batman, it seems he would have a pretty legit reason to fear for his family.

I think the point was that once he got shot while protecting the mayor, he decided to remain dead to the public to work behind the scenes while not risking his life anymore. And while his family was never threatened it was probably safest for him while still trying to hunt down the Joker.

Someone might be more familiar with them but I think they're similar to Empire, though perhaps not as well known. They gave BB and TDK 5 stars, so this should be expected, though perhaps relieving for those wondering if Nolan Raimi'd us.
