I loved it. I thought the plot was a little ho-hum without enough twists or turns, and maybe a bit too much of a "regular movie" then I would have liked, but from the very very very first "scene", the film had the theater in laughter, until (even after) the credits. Great movie, highly recommend it.

pretty disappointed by the movie. i love sbc but the movie was honestly kind of lame. there were a couple laughs but overall just predictable and boring. i liked bruno quite a bit better and i didn't think bruno was great or anything.

I haven't seen it yet but the first trailer that was shown made me think it was almost on the level of Love Guru or something. I thought it looked absolutely terrible. If Bruno is better, I'll still check this out one day when it's cheap or on Netflix, but I'm not going out of my way to do so.

I saw the movie opening night, and I had the complete opposite reaction. I was close to tears for about half of the movie, and then

Yeah The Love Guru is probably the worst movie I've ever seen in my lifetime, that's for sure. I guess I thought of it after seeing The Dictator's first trailer because I worried that SBC could have killed his career with a steaming pile. I love SBC so I don't want to see him go out like this.

Pretty idiotic movie, but I have to admit it was funny. Could have been an Anchorman-esque kind of movie, but lost it a third of the way into it. Wasn't charming enough.

Went in with low expectations and enjoyed it for what it was. I thought the scene in the helicopter was the best bit - hilarious stuff

Would love a gif of Aladeen doing the throat slit gesture he does when he wants someone to be executed

It was..alright.

The best parts were with the Scary Movie chick. He was going HAM on her through the whole movie.

The soundtrack with all the songs translated to gibberish was a nice touch I appreciated. "Aladeen motherfucker!"

And the racist secret service agent/assassin made me chuckle.

My favorite gag though was at the beginning. When they're panning through the pictures of all the celebrities he boned. Oprah is just all the way to the side trying not to touch him with the most uncomfortable smile.
