how on earth do you stop the back up calls? every 2 seconds i hear it and it's annoying me.

any way the game is quite addictive and fun...but not sure if i'll be buying it.

Not sure about the backup calls. Just got through the tutorial.

Also, Ubi advises rebooting game every 2-3 hours to avoid crashes. lmao

Edit: Meant to write 'just got through' :p

You can turn that off, not only that the game tells you you can turn it off.

Settings-gameplay-GPS Line EDIT: Nope, not that.

It told me in a blurb how to turn it off and now I can't find it.

They should have made D1 a GAAS and released this as Year 2 or whatever, as this just doesnt feel like a new game to me. New environment, which is less atmospheric, loads of QoL changes which are nice but it still feels like I popped the first game in and the snow had melted. Went from Day One to wait for sale, will guaranteed be a good game but after putting almost 200 hours into the first one, this feels way too familiar.

you summed it up perfectly. i don't see why we need an entirely new game....other than a quick cash grab. they could make money other ways though. they should have just kept updating D1. patch new features/QoL improvements in and sell new maps/missions/modes.

i'll probably pick it up on a sale too. in fact in general buying Ubisoft games at launch is a bad idea. they tend to sell their games cheaper much quicker than others.

I'm only a quarter of an hour or so of game time so far, but I mean it feels exactly like the first game to me. Enemies go down a bit quicker. Kickback on the starting weapon feels like a lot but can't remember if that's how it was in the first game - is kickback something that varies between weapons?

Like what I saw so far ... carrying forward systems and gameplay from the previous game is not necessarily a bad thing, if the previous game was good!

Yeah. A lot less spongier than the first game was at launch.

I hate the pseudo-random deviation on shots. I mean, sure it is a game, but I can shoot at somebody's head and do a perfect outline around it with the bullet deviation. It does this even on single shot weapons.

They sure didn't stray far from the formula either, these could be an expansion pack for The Division instead of new game.

I'm really happy w/ it.

The TTK is great, but I have heard some YTers say that changes a lot at end-game.

I loved the Declaration of Independence mission.

Gunplay is way tighter than Division 1.

impressions so far?

how long before ubi does their own BR?

I think if you're a Division fan, then you're going to be really happy with this.

If you were meh on the Division, then it probably won't change your mind.

Not sure about BR. But I could see Survival expanded to be more like BR.

Two disconnects in 30 mins, otherwise game has ran great for me! Also, was I not paying attention or is the character creator limited to randomized female toons?

I sure do find a lot of holsters

I just had my first disconnect. Was able to log back in after short queue. They seem pretty prepared

Ditto - was maybe less than a minute to get back in. It dumped be back at the start (was only *just* starting to run around in the White House), but at least I got to keep the loot I'd picked up prior to the disconnect. Lol

Playing on PS4 Pro.

So far Im liking this. As others have said, gunplay and movement feels better than D1. Graphically a small leap but nothing amazing.

Digging the new setting also.

Hendrick's

If only my penis was as big as my GamerScore!
Haven't been able to play much (fuck work), how's the loot this time around? That was my biggest issue with the first. Hope the loot is more meaningful.

I played around 20 minutes of it. Wandered around a bit opening luggage and coolers. Shot some chaps. It was so tedious I found myself examining a helicopter's paint job. I couldn't read the text at all so I had no idea if the loot I was equipping was better or worse. I guess it was better. It didn't matter anyway. After that I had a stroll around some tents. Shot some more chaps. Looked at some fairground stalls. Then I got bored and deleted it.

The same? Not Borderlands but better than Destiny. As far as I can tell anyway.

If you mean more complexity-wise, the gear is a bit more complex than the first game, but I don't think we get enough access to really form an opinion.

Edit: Edited for clarity. :p

I'm digging the new setting too.

Props to massive. These guys/gals are really good at bringing these places to life imho.

I think I might have been expecting too much of a leap in graphics. D1 is still a good looking game.

This looks really good, don’t get me wrong.

I have an agent I've been levelling up w/ my brother as kind of a farewell or whatnot.

When you go back and forth, you can definitely see the difference imo. Draw distance really stands out.

But yeah, it's not a huge leap. Not sure if that's a nod in the first game's favor or a mark against the sequel.

Yea, not a huge difference between the two that I can tell so far -- mostly just small details. But, as you say, D1 still looks quite good.

So far I like what I've played, I really like the gun play and the way weapons sound.

Graphics and controls are also good.

Just played a straight 6.5 hours. I think the game is pretty damn good, but hard playing solo. I got disconnected about 15 times, no exaggeration lol.
Its a def buy for me in the future when its discounted.

this beta is not really blowing me away...it's definitely more of the same so fans of D1 should enjoy it but the DC setting is not as interesting...the world doesn't feel as dynamic...and the graphics are a noticeable step down...I'm playing at 1440p DX12

Is there any reason not to use DX12 with a 1070ti and mid range i7?

Should usually always improve something, right?

a lot of games run better in DX11, especially if you have an Nvidia card...but hard to tell with Division 2 since it's only a beta

I had two disconnects in the first 30 minutes, one more an hour later, and that's been it for the four hours or so I've put in. Not too bad, I guess. Hopefully the upcoming maintenance helps, for those who have had it worse.

Which platform are you on (I'm guessing xbox based on your name)? I thought audio mix was by far one of the weakest things shown in the PC demo. Just completely off when it comes to 3d positioning and volume balance of individual effects.
