Nothing reported so far. They did implement some anticheat messures in the open beta, so hopefully that's working as intended.

Its FairFight (99% sure on that) so its going to take some time to get tweaking down, but once it does they'll all get bent sideways

I mean we are lucky to even get this open beta, and honestly its more for them then it is for us.

Sure, but if you're going to give one more wing... I'd rather have them ALL. If you're going to unlock the turret, let me see the other (security?) wing's second unlock to see how I feel about that and which ones I want to go with.

that's what the full game is for ;)

Yeah, adding another mission was smart. However, I hope the rumors of only 10 main missions in the final game are false.

To get a handle on the campaign, how big is the story mode? Obviously one of your first missions as a player is to secure a Safe House which then unlocks three missions, each related to the three wings or specialism – Medical, Technical and security. But from that, how big is the entire campaign?

There’s a generous handful of each missions tied to each wing for the main campaign. There’s more than 10 main missions which are these combat focused, rollercoaster rides, more linear experiences, to balance out the complete freedom of the open world, which is a big part of the formula.
With our open world you can go anywhere. But you can also commit to a focused mission, where you can try out all those skills and stats you’ve been building and crafting. Put it to the test in one of these experiences we’ve build as the campaign missions and of course the side missions.

And every mission can be replayed in Hard Mode as well?

They can. Hard Mode is for you to come back and try it later for a different type of reward and much more difficult challenge. It’s there for you from the beginning if you’re just a born badass. You can do it from the get-go, but it’s not balanced for a normal player to play through normally on hard. It’s for coming back to later.

The dark zone this time around is definitely tougher for solo and even when I teamed up with my buddy. Respawn is faster, enemies get health back if they go back to their spawn point etc.

I like it. Much more rewarding

Yeah, actually finding things to do in the Dark Zone is easier. But it seems like unless you're in a group most people are going to go rouge and murder you if you're solo.

How do you see what loot the guy is carrying in the dark zone ? I'm enjoying it and thankfully found very little teams ganging up.

I manage to get some loot solo but I think I was just lucky and everyone else was occupied . Still not found anything amazing in there just yet .

That's incredibly disappointing. Haven't played it yet but plan on playing by myself a fair amount.

I was running solo last night and mostly ran into helpful people. I only got turned on once and that was by some guy shooting at a distance. I am sure that will change depending on who I run into, but it is still all part of the excitement. Hell, being by yourself in The Dark Zone just adds to it, if you ask me.

I don't know about that one. I've had more than a few sour experiences when it comes to playing with certain GAF members. Never again.

You need to name and shame. it's what keeps GAF in line XD

Thanks for the link.

I've been going back and forth whether I should get this or not, as I'm not much on multiplayer (excluding Souls) and would probably only be playing solo, mostly because I have no friends, so this part has me reassured:

You only need to right click on a controller to create a group. And then you can run with someone without even joining a group. I can revive you in the Dark Zone even if you’re not a group.

I preloaded the beta on PC but I won't be able to play it till Sunday.

Still my 13 year old brother played it and went from no interest to buying day 1.

Always Play with GAF (tm)

Oh yeah, if a DGAF like community forms I'm all over that. Just sometimes like to play on my own and if it's going to be frustrating, even a small percentage of the time, I'll probably just ignore it.

I had some fun following a group of rogues through the subway and fighting then when they were occupied with some loot. They were always going out and killing everyone they saw so there were a few times when a bunch of people grouped up in order to kill them, even though it didn't stop them in the long term.

One of the ign videos of a level 16 player showed 10 main missions. If you want to believe the dev included missions to max level or slightly below it, then more than 10 seems likely. I'll be utterly disappointed if we only get 10 that are available at level 16.

The way they talk about dz level 30 being entirely different, why would they implement the games biggest way to level up by only providing 10 mission you'd had to grind over and over and over again. Wishful thinking I so believe.

FYI, you do not level up your regular level in the dz so I would think they would provide more in the pve area to make that grind less repetitive

I was kinda discouraged by my PC's performance until I looked at some benches on YouTube. I have 2 Titan Blacks in sli, a 5960X @ 4.2 and I spend the majority of my time in the upper 40's low 50's at 1440p. (turnt all the way up) The recommended settings only help a little bit (and only really disable AA and drop shadow quality) Hopefully the new drivers help out a ton when the game launches.

I've played the beta a bunch on Xbox One as well and think the game looks pretty good there too. Obviously not as good a PC but still pretty good for consoles.

Only played the new mission. Love it already.

1) What does the Armor stat actually represent, seperate from Health? Does higher Armor mean that each shot you take removes less health?
2) How do you get out of having a grenade equipped?
3) How does xp share work from enemies you kill as part of a team?

Found a blue backpack, everything else is Green, only level 5 though. Running with an M4 and an M44 carbine, won't be back on til tomorrow though :(

Haven't been into the Dark Zone, it looks fucking terrifying from the outside. And the foreboding music when you go near it is great.

If I already deleted the closed beta and download the open beta will my progress have been carried over? Is everything saved on the server side?

All progress is deleted, you start again with a level 4 character with m4, mp5 and pistol.

EDIT: It doesn't matter if you saved your old client or not. Everyone gets reset.

I like how at a crowded extraction you see 4-6 turrets go down just before the rope. If anybody goes rogue they better do it from long range.
