In the time it took you to type that, another 2500 NDS's were sold, and 4359345897435874395789348974358979847578939745983475983479485778943985794837589735397845984759834759783597579845985339475978357983457 people interested in the PSP went home without a unit :)

Fix'd

I could own Nintendo, you never know.

But seriously folks, the more NDS units that sell, the more licensees that see fit (financially speaking) to put their games on the system. The more games I get to play.

It's simple, really :)

(and yes, I really do dig that touch screen)

So like... just for reference... if the PSP explodes next year and surpasses DS...

...will you blow up? Will I see chunky pieces of your flesh and meat come raining down upon my head? Because then I might have to root for the bad guys just to see that happen! :D

Nope, no explosive chunks. Just one man with one realization that he has alot more to learn about what gamers want in a portable system. I don't see that happening in the near future, though. I've been pretty good about calling these things thus far. We'll see, though. I've got alot of faith in what i've been preaching :)

Actually the few lucky people who got a PSP had them fall apart on the way home, Sony need to stop hiring Chimps to make there consoles! I

I hope the DS and PSP each fail miserably so console gamers won't waste their money on a handheld version of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater. That's the first step to killing the console version as well.

I really like that definition of a gimmick. if that's what we're going by, I'm down! :)

I think the hardware itself is cool - but there are no great games out for it yet that take use of it very well. And the ones that do look like they pigeonhole themselves into being a 2 or 3 hour game thats cute to play once, and thats it. I really don't like those types of games. I keep hearing more and more on the PSP. It's got wireless. I think it's got a port for a mic. It's got analog, better graphics, more games. I thought the touch screen was an awesome idea at first, but its becoming very apparent to me it isn't going to make it. I hope it succeeds in a way, so more innovative stuff gets made - but in a way I want it to fail so Nintendo learns to make a more sensible games and big time games - and not little quick fix games that are fun and done in two hours. Nintendo has been doing way too much of that lately.
