I just switched from 11.11c to 12.1. I saw an fps increase on my 6970 so I stuck with it.
Lulz new issue, ridiculously low fps indoors looking in certain directions. I know an ini tweak is at fault, not sure which one though. Any ideas?
I'm going to go from an ini that works and one by one add in my tweaks and check each time to find the culprit.
Shadow res at 8k maybe?
Would that only cause indoor issues?
My outdoors is perfectly silky smooth.
I'll check it anyhow.
When I tried 8k my outdoors fps was fine, but some spots indoors would plummet to single digits. Sounds similar to your issue, so thought it might be worth a shot.
Anyone in the UK updated to 1.3.10? I am stuck on 1.3.7 with apparently no update available.
Yep, running 1.3.10.0 here. Not sure how you force an update - have you tried 'verify integrity of game cache' ?
Hmm, I'm getting no obvious improvement. Frame rate stays 37-40 in cities.
Log says it loaded correctly, so guess I'm just an unlucky one
plugin G:\Steam\steamapps\common\skyrim\Data\SKSE\Plugins\\TESVAL.dll (00000001 TESVAL 00000001) loaded correctly
Edit* on i5 @ 4.0GHz
Is there any way to play this game in windows mode? Having to constantly alt+tab to get out of the game to browse UESP is annoying, and it crash my game after a few alt+tabs on top of that.
Try as I might, I still can't get rid of the damn framerate hitching even though I'm locked at 60 80% of the time. I have an i5 2500k and a 1gb 6950.
Hi guys!
Could you explain me what is wrong with my lighting? I can as clear as day at night time and at day time it's just blinding. I'm using ENB series mod but the others who use it don't have the same problem as me.
What do I need to tweak to have a really dark night and a normal day?

I don't find them that good. Also I'm only at the begining of the game, I didn't get to Whiterun yet. I'm trying lots of mods before I seriously get to it. I find it disturbing to see that clearly mountains in the dark. It's like an overall lack of darkness and shadow, the night is bright like there is a full moon, I just want the game to be darker. Should I get rid of ENB series even if I lose the better colors and post processing? Those setting looks quite good!
Can You post shots from other locations? Like Whiterun inside and outside, any dungeon, Dawnstar, Riften, Solitude [day and night and from outside].
Thanks ;]
To be honest, I've never found any of the graphics mods worth the trouble. For me they just make the game look different, not better.

I've become addicted to mods, anyone found any amazing ones recently that deserve a spotlight?
(I am aware of the latest performance increasing one)
Anything from isoku, no more blocky faces, detailed faces, detailed bodies, enhanced blood textures, enhanced night sky, skyrim flora overhaul/lush grass...
Just from the top of my head.
@Dmax
Avoid the SKyrim 2k one as some are reporting errors.
I am actually in the process of updating the current ones and added a few. If your GPU has over 1GB of RAM then grab Vurts Flora, Serious HD Retexture, Realistic water, Re-define dungeons, sun glare, and enhanced night skyrim. There are more but you should not get too overboard before the real deal hits next month in the CK.

Anyone using the TESV Acceleration Layer (which I assume is most people at this point) should go grab the latest version off the Nexus.

There was a bug in the .01 release version that was causing the scripting errors.
A whopping 1 fps more in HD Whiterun. Well my GPU is the bottleneck rather than my CPU so I guess I won't really benefit from this mod. Still a great effort though.Anyone using the TESV Acceleration Layer (which I assume is most people at this point) should go grab the latest version off the Nexus.

Mod manager thinks all the different redefined dungeons are the same... which one to go with?
Usually worse in skyrims case.
haven't played this for ages because im stuck in whiterun, everytime i move outside i ctd which blows.
will wait to see if they can sort these out otherwise i'll have to go back to a really old save, fffuu
Any issues reported with the new version of the skse optimizer plugin? I'll want to use it for my new character if it's all smooth.
I had no issues with the first one but the newer version is even better.

TESV Acceleration Layer offers CPU optimization, massive possible performance increases

Anybody try this yet?
