YEEEEAAH FLASH IS BACK! Plenty of good stuff this episode, some bad stuff too.
- Miller is perfect as Captain Cold.
- Joe is the heart of this show. It's going to be awful when he's killed off.
- C'mon Barry, you've got super speed. Punch them out, take their guns away. No need for the crossing the stream bullshit. This is why I was all for Cold and the Rogues getting their DNA re-written to incorporate their weapons in the New52. They're just too underpowered for my taste in this day and age, and it's harder to suspend ones disbelief for live-action tv.
This is the threat the Flash deserves:
- Anyway, if Flash isn't going to speed punch them or take their guns away, why bother with the police perimeter if a couple of snipers don't just blast their kneecaps and call it a day? I know, I know "It's TV, show would be over in 5 minutes". But then just don't put the fucking police on the scene and invite these kinds of logic holes.
- Caitlyn and Barry need to fuck already.

- Purcell as Heatwave was awesome. Loved how much of a fucking raving lunatic he is. I was laughing my ass off when he burned the painting.
- Miller is so perfect as cold it ain't even funny, haha. These two have great chemistry and you can tell they just relish these roles. Just having a ton of fun with them.
- Good that Barry and Iris aren't awkward as shit anymore.
- Happy that Eddie is firmly on the Flash's side now. I bet this is gonna be set up for great tragedy down the line.
- FIRESTORM investigation, commence! That douchebag general from the Army that got Plastique killed will probably return.
- Cavanaugh did great work this week.
- Joe and Barry are roomies!
- The special effects in this episode looked great, but Barry not using his super speed to just take their guns outta their hands and knock them out was stupid. I'd have an easier time believing it if Snart and Rory had figured out some traps or something before hand to slow him down and force him to do go around them instead of go head-to-head.
- Golden Glider already in the show? Where'd Snart get that tech? Who else is likely to become a Rogue? I can see Clock King joining, now Golden Glider, maybe Pied Piper? Rainbow Raider? Probably not, that dude would cause the team to self-destruct.

Caitlin's Killer Frost isn't as evil as the other incarnations, but she requires heat to live and when Firestorm isn't around to provide it, it can lead to killing. That'll probably be the dynamic they go for.

Glad this show is back. Miller and Purcell were great. Seeing anything Space Ghost put a smile on my face.
As much I enjoyed this episode, the fight with Cold and Heatwave is pretty dumb knowing Barry could just grab the guns since he's fast. Oh, well.

Lots of fun which is how I'd describe this show and was in season two with Arrow but the lighter tone to Flash pretty much supplants Arrow as the most fun show I watch. Yeah, Barry should be able to run up and just take the guns out of their hands but where's the fun in that? Seriously if Barry was that competent in using his powers the only villains he'd have is speedsters or maybe teleporters. That's something I'm willing to not think about every time Barry beats someone without super speed. I wouldn't at all be surprised if later on in the series it gets addressed though with Cold, Heatwave, ect.
There's always next time. I'm still expecting a big reunion by near the season's end or maybe next season.
Well..that was fun. Shame they didn't get to Prison Break together. I mean, they were going to Iron Heights, where most likely both Vertigo and Clock King are doing their sentences. Wasted opportunity

Finally watched an episode last night, and I really thought it was the most ridiculous thing I've seen outside of reality TV.
So this Cold guy and Fire guy are just marching down an empty street with their heat/cold guns, while the police just sit back in the distance and do absolutely nothing. So it's up to the Flash to take these guys out, and...do these guys have super speed themselves? Because as super fast as Flash is made out to be, he could've just flew up and knocked the shit out of both of them when they were busy flapping their yaps. How could they even have time to pull the triggers of these weapons if Flash is so super fast?
I'll have to try and catch an episode of Gotham. Hopefully it's not as lame as Flash.
