Great episode and I love the new girl but that was easy, I already liked the actress in Vampire Diaries.
I thought it was interesting that Wells rubbed the back of his neck when he grabbed the gun to shoot Stein, as if he was remembering grabbing the bullet from last episode because he is future Barry. It made me think the creators were definitely trying to throw some misdirection at us.
They had a closeup of it, too, as if it was really important, but, as others have said, I don't think Wells is future Barry because he's in another league intellectually.
Man it would be awesome if they could do Thomas Wayne Batman as it would have zero affect on their movies or the status quo of the Arrow/Flash universe. With Barry time travelling and trying to save his mom, are we heading to the Flashpoint Paradox? It hope so, and it would be awesome, but other super heroes will have to show up as well.
I think the closeup was to show off the ring.
So, I'm wondering if there are, or will be two Harrison Wells in this timeline?
Thought 1: I can't believe Linda kissed Barry after he ate the pepper.
I didn't notice the ring. I generally watch the episode again over the weekend with my daughter. I'll be on the lookout then.
They are doing a really good job at keeping the comic fans on their toes with this storyline. Nothing quite makes sense in regards to Wells. At first I thought the same thing you did BUT then I also noticed the ring. So I have no clue what that purpose of that shot was.
I really don't think Wells is future Barry though.
Still not sure how they got away with that.
I guess that throws the theory that Wells is future Barry out. The clues they are giving us make no sense. Likely deliberate misdirection with Wells rubbing his neck before grabbing the gun and having the Flash Ring. I mean he did kill people, but unless Future Wells is actually an alternate Barry who somehow became Reverse Flash, I can't see Wells being Future Flash.
Do we know if this plot thread will be resolved this season? It is really damn good.

So...no one thought to wonder where Wells got the parts for the quantum splicer? Even though those parts came from the tachyon device that RF stole?
I also suspect that there are two copies of Wells in the current timeline. It would explain why he uses the RF voice when he says "Merry Christmas" as he puts the tachyon device on his suit, and it would also go a long way toward explaining why Wells and RF could be at different places at the same time without going into him being beyond ridiculously fast.
She already proved she liked spicy tacos. Why not go for a spicy kiss?
The stuff I couldn't believe was CSI Central City. The mirror just happened to be bought by the sameladycougar that bought the house, and went and placed it in the exact same position as the family that lived in it before her? And nobody happened to wash the blood off the walls, they just decided to place wallpaper over it?
OH WUT, First time seeing this holy hell how did they get away with that on essentially a kids show. Is Brave And The Bold usually this good ?
As someone in criminal justice/forensics, I just turn a blind eye to this kinda stuff. No show has ever done it right and I don't expect them to either. It just doesn't make for good, or convenient, television. She already proved she liked spicy tacos. Why not go for a spicy kiss?

I don't know if John Steward is a good representation for a good black character, because he is black, but lacking in the character part.
But I would certainly not have anything against an original black Speedster.Sometimes it's a matter of habit. You can see me throwing a fit whenever a skinny Waller appears because I think that her plus size is a big part why her character is great. I sometimes hate changes in hairstyle. Some fans don't want skin colors to change because they're racist and some just hate change in general. But let us wail or arms, if it's not a real all-around fuck-up people will grow familiar.
Black Nick Fury is a good example. I grew up with the 90s cartoon white Fury and was a bit confused by Samuel L. Jackson. But he made a good job and I am content with black Nick Fury. It's not like I hate blacks, change is just strange. But probably needed in this old ass medium.
Since everyone is quoting Linda.![]()

There we go.

So if Flashpoint does happen, will we see Flash meet Oliver's dad as the Arrow after losing his son at sea? And then they team up to take on the Reverse-Flash?
Cuz that would be sick.

Thought 2: Man, Firestorm flying effects are fucking awesome.
Linda is way too much woman for Barry.
