There will be no Wally. Barry is stealing everything good about Wally anyway, from his personality to his girlfriend.

With Barry time travelling and trying to save his mom, are we heading to the Flashpoint Paradox? It hope so, and it would be awesome, but other super heroes will have to show up as well.

Lol at him vibrating in her arms.

I thought it was interesting that Wells rubbed the back of his neck when he grabbed the gun to shoot Stein, as if he was remembering grabbing the bullet from last episode because he is future Barry. It made me think the creators were definitely trying to throw some misdirection at us.

They had a closeup of it, too, as if it was really important, but, as others have said, I don't think Wells is future Barry because he's in another league intellectually.

I think the closeup was to show off the ring.

So, I'm wondering if there are, or will be two Harrison Wells in this timeline?

Man it would be awesome if they could do Thomas Wayne Batman as it would have zero affect on their movies or the status quo of the Arrow/Flash universe.

So if Flashpoint does happen, will we see Flash meet Oliver's dad as the Arrow after losing his son at sea? And then they team up to take on the Reverse-Flash?

Cuz that would be sick.

Thought 1: I can't believe Linda kissed Barry after he ate the pepper.

I was thinking the same thing. Except it's just occurred to me that he didn't even have the right pepper in his hand (regardless of it being a candy prop most likely). He said "ghost pepper" right? If so then it is about the size of your thumb past the knuckle, and if he bit it like that there would be no speaking afterward and her eyes would have been watering too much to kiss just from getting within inches of him. Nice flavour though.

Just watched the first two seasons of Arrow on netflix in like a week, an just saw the first episode of Flash last night, DC definitely has there tv show lineup in order, both are awesome shows :)

I didn't notice the ring. I generally watch the episode again over the weekend with my daughter. I'll be on the lookout then.

At first I thought the same thing you did BUT then I also noticed the ring. So I have no clue what that purpose of that shot was.

I really don't think Wells is future Barry though.

They are doing a really good job at keeping the comic fans on their toes with this storyline. Nothing quite makes sense in regards to Wells.

So...no one thought to wonder where Wells got the parts for the quantum splicer? Even though those parts came from the tachyon device that RF stole?

I also suspect that there are two copies of Wells in the current timeline. It would explain why he uses the RF voice when he says "Merry Christmas" as he puts the tachyon device on his suit, and it would also go a long way toward explaining why Wells and RF could be at different places at the same time without going into him being beyond ridiculously fast.

I guess that throws the theory that Wells is future Barry out. The clues they are giving us make no sense. Likely deliberate misdirection with Wells rubbing his neck before grabbing the gun and having the Flash Ring. I mean he did kill people, but unless Future Wells is actually an alternate Barry who somehow became Reverse Flash, I can't see Wells being Future Flash.

Do we know if this plot thread will be resolved this season? It is really damn good.

Nobody really thought Wells was Barry from the future.

She already proved she liked spicy tacos. Why not go for a spicy kiss?

The stuff I couldn't believe was CSI Central City. The mirror just happened to be bought by the same lady cougar that bought the house, and went and placed it in the exact same position as the family that lived in it before her? And nobody happened to wash the blood off the walls, they just decided to place wallpaper over it?

I'm not sure they'd notice as Wells seems to be much smarter than the rest of them and their fields of speciality might mean they lack the knowledge to recognize the parts. Caitlin at least, I'm not sure about Cisco but they were both distracted by other things.

No that was the current timeline Wells at the end, he was the one who was beaten up by Reverse Flash as seen by the injuries. There's definitely time travel shenanigans going on, but I think RF Wells came and went after stealing the tachyon.

The blood splatter you saw was from the 3D reconstruction that Cisco did. I'm "guessing" they retrieved trace amounts of blood from the wallpaper, but yeah, definitely had to do a bit of stretching there.

As someone in criminal justice/forensics, I just turn a blind eye to this kinda stuff. No show has ever done it right and I don't expect them to either. It just doesn't make for good, or convenient, television.

Man, this show just keeps getting better and better every week. So awesome.

TIME-TRAVEL IS HAPPENING, FUCK YES. Most exciting part of the episode for me.

God i love this show, easily my favourite show on right now.

With time traveling Barry now confirmed, that means faster than light running should be on the way :D, and with that the massive bomb going off/rescuing everyone comic scene will come at some point (it dam well better!)..

Damn good episode. This show continues to surprise me with how good the effects are, the part where Firestorm takes off with Barry was legit great, really well done.

The nuke explosion wasn't as good as I would have liked, but that's not too big a problem.

And yes, Linda Park. GODDAMN. That gif.

FUCK.

How does CW keep doing it.

Good episode though yeah, the blood thing was weak as was the mirror part but... Eh. I enjoyed the episode. Oh and for the record I've been calling Barry a "human sybian" for months now.

Don't know why but I recognized the current resident of Barry's old home/Chase Masterson from an episode of Sliders that I haven't seen in a very long time. Never really got into DS9 outside of seeing episodes here and there late at night when I only had one TV station.

I don't know if John Steward is a good representation for a good black character, because he is black, but lacking in the character part.

But I would certainly not have anything against an original black Speedster.Sometimes it's a matter of habit. You can see me throwing a fit whenever a skinny Waller appears because I think that her plus size is a big part why her character is great. I sometimes hate changes in hairstyle. Some fans don't want skin colors to change because they're racist and some just hate change in general. But let us wail or arms, if it's not a real all-around fuck-up people will grow familiar.

Black Nick Fury is a good example. I grew up with the 90s cartoon white Fury and was a bit confused by Samuel L. Jackson. But he made a good job and I am content with black Nick Fury. It's not like I hate blacks, change is just strange. But probably needed in this old ass medium.

But with Nick Fury they just took the Ultimates version of the character so there was already precedent of a black Nick Fury. Of course the Ultimate Nick Fury was based on SLJ so it just came around full circle. Personally not that attached but there's also the red hair hang up people have with Wally since I guess it's part of his identity.

I always lurk here and read everything after every episode, but I just had to chime in.
These last 2 episodes were crazy good!
This one especially. I was just smiling throughout most of it, and had tons of fun.

*Obligatory Robbie Amell is damn gorgeous*
