Captain Singh was paralyzed, not dead, if that's whom you're referring to.

Still, you'd think if it was linked to some kind of multiversal trauma, he and Joe (broken leg?) would have some phantom pain.

I think Cisco is being pushed as the next hero in the Arrowverse after tonight's episode.

sometimes I wish these shows were 13 episodes per season, it worked wonders for DD and other series. This episode felt like the show stretching itself to meet its 22 episode quota.

Next week looks hypeeeee. I really liked when Wells was about to destroy the bee, and Barry being a total bro when talking about Eddie to Iris.

DD rushed to the end so yeah, no thank you. DD spoiler
In the span of days 2 lawyers a journalist and a secretary take down Wilson Fisk's empire.

Mediocre? What the fuck people?

That was easily the funniest episode of the season. The intro scene was hilarious. Lots of cringe in the double date. Cisco and Ray OTP. The most awful bee puns possible. Felicity back to the awkward innuendo. Cisco getting a taste of his Vibe future.

The CGI and main story beats stung a bit but still pretty much the funniest way to do filler there is. And now Cisco and Caitlin are in the game so it's time for the final act to beegin.

The iZombie girl is Australian?

New Zealander.

Fun episode, no holy shit moments, but you don't need them all the time or every week. But that ending, so good. The show never has a dull moment.

Okay the stuff with Iris is straight up venturing into sexist territory at this point
"When do I get a vote?"
"When you become her husband"

Really!?

Aside from that good, solid episode

Damn people didn't like this episode? I enjoyed it a lot except for the villian. Glad to see everybody's on the same page now.

it was the combo of Barry not being able to outrun bees and the utter BS going on with Iris.

Eddie is a cop, perhaps he is on a confidential case that he can't talk about. just because you are his GF doesn't give him the ability to tell you about something confidential. She is a freaken cop's daughter she should no this, and thus she just came off as a horrible bitch in this episode and really soured me on her character in general.

overall the episode was ok, but it's easily the weakest episode of the last 8 or so.

Solid episode besides the whole Iris shit. My GOD did they turn her into an unreasonable bitch for no reason whatsoever but to create drama. "Eddie, I know you are hiding something and I don't care if you have a valid explanation that probably keeps me safe and protects thousands of lives, I WAN TO KNOW IT NOWWWW!!!!!"

Barry stay away from that with a ten foot pole, you need to apologize to your sweet ass ex and get back up in that.

Barry with the subtle power play against Eddie. :p

Seriously, though, felt bad for Eddie at the end. He looked absolutely devastated.

well he did just discover his long term girlfriend had been hiding that she was a uber bitch. Learning a truth like that would devastate anyone. But yeah Eddie deserves better at this point.

Even though the episode was full of cheese filled acting, that look on Joe's face when Barry is stung? Like a father looking at his dying son. Top tier dad.

He's such a conflicted but good guy. Too good not to be corrupted. Sort of like how Joe is too good of a father figure not to die.

I legit laughed at the dinner scene and Caitlyn's "oh my god, there's two of them" remark.

Fun episode. At this point I've come to accept that every non-RF villain is going to be lame as hell so I don't even bother with it anymore.

I wasn't arguing that Eddie shouldn't feel devastated or questioning his reaction - I was sympathizing with him.

I like how the writers have gotten us to like Eddie more and more as the season has progressed. He was naturally in a position to have some competition with Barry, but seeing them team up in the beginning to catch the criminals was fun. :)

...

Also, I'm not feeling so down on Iris as others. Yes, she did act out of character, but she's also been out of the loop and in the dark with so many things. It's natural (to a degree) for someone to channel the frustration with that at the person to whom he/she is closest/

Episode was fucking cheesy, but still enjoyable. The puns

I loved that episode, have no idea what you guys are talking about. We just had Superman in an Iron Man suit fight bees while the Flash fought some more bees.

Like, dude. This is incredible.

Maybe Cisco already has powers from the particle accelerator and this is how they first manifest?
I'm betting this is where they go with Cisco and Caitlin. They've been metahumans the entire time but it's taking longer for their abilities to manifest for some reason.

Solid episode. Really cheesy, but fun. The Superman reference in the beginning.
The really cheesy hack-off
Iris being a mega bitch
it's all stupid but fun

To be perfectly fair it was painfully obvious they wanted Ray to be Blue Beetle so the Iron Man stuff doesn't bug me.

Then why not just have him be Ted Kord then?

I was really enjoying the beginning of that episode with the super efficient buddy cop team-up with Flash. Hammy and fun. Then the bee lady and Iris plot lines arrived... Ending makes me hopeful for the close of the season.

Thought that picture of the Reverse Flash at the end would look cool so I went frame by frame and took a quick snapshot when it appeared. He's only on screen for two frames!

Yeah that episode was a weird mix of Arrow angst and comic book cheesiness. It felt like Felicity was written in just for Barry to bounce ideas off of.

However, if you're going to be cheesy, embrace it. And the show did just that by not holding back on the puns (I mean seriously, that was some "kick some ice" level of eye-rolling) and going all-in on the craziness of having a guy in a powered suit fighting a swarm of robotic bees.

Still enjoyable to watch these characters interact with each other, 3/5 episode for me.

I'm glad the Reverse Flash plot is picking up, though. I think Cisco is starting to show metahuman powers and can sense the "vibes" from alternate timelines.

Iris is a horrible woman. I never hate a female mc so much before.

you obviously haven't watched arrow. I am watching it thanks to the flash and am at the start of season 2 of arrow (I spoilered it but it doesn't really contain any spoilers)
and Laurel Lance with her BS justifications for her drama are way worse than Iris. Iris is being a bitch and dumb, Laurel is down right screwed up in the head and striving to be a worse person than the multiple murders in Arrow.

I'm thinking that Cisco remembering probably has something to do with how he was killed. Vibrating hand death from RF might have left some residual something or other inside of him. And I'm thinking that Barry's experimental zap, mixed with RF's residuals could be the catalyst that starts the change to Vibe.

Cisco should've whipped up some super powered fly swatters. Fun but dumb, at least the writers knew it at least to an extent. I can get Iris being frustrated but it's just over the freakin' top though not Arrow levels yet. I did like the self awareness though.

EDIT: Oh, the extended promo is out. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kx9gwI8wcbQ Don't forget spoiler tag discussion and all that.

Not telling Iris that Barry is the Flash is purely to create drama but it only creates the awful, awful kind of drama and also makes her a terrible character. Eddie was right, everybody but Iris knows, there is no legitimate reason to not tell her. She has a known relationship with the Flash that has already gotten her into trouble. Her knowing who the Flash is would not increase the danger she faces since people already think she knows.

It looks like they're using this terrible plot device to break up Iris and Eddie so that Eddie hates Barry when he eventually ends up with Iris.

I'm a bit confused about when this episode was supposed to happen in relation to Arrow. The episodes definitely aren't synched anymore.

Eddie is the only one losing cause of this secret shit. Iris and his relationship is on the rocks now despite the fact that he's literally the only person who sees that her not knowing and everyone in her life lying to her is fucked up. Poor guy.

I'm legit crushing on Cisco at the moment.

Bug eyed bandit was awful. It's just not the cheese, but what they do with the cheese. Cap'n Cold, while over the top has more to offer then puns.

Iris is jus ugggghh. The tsunami shoulda wiped her off the map. Eddie can do better than her, I mean he had good chemistry with Barry (I ship em hard).

I enjoy the crossovers but everything with Raylicity seemed so overwhelming and the plot felt like it couldn't breath.

Felicity was high on something because she's going crazy with those puns and innuendos. Loved Caitlyn's comment about there being two of them, though.

I don't know why, but Felicity's "Bee careful" really got me.

The Cisco flashbacks were interesting, we're so close to the confrontation. It's going to be crazy.

THANK YOU!

It was like some of the cheesiest comics of the sixties and seventies brought to life.
