Why did Eddie have to be told Barry's secret again? The unnecessary drama between iris and Eddie is just dumb. It's arrow all over ahain.

They needed him for the investigation...which they seem to be doing just fine without him.

Whatever happened to Iris investigating STAR Labs? That would have been something interesting for her and Eddie to do.

while Roy rots in prison and the League seeks to destroy Starling?

Lol, this Eddie/Joe friction is bizarre. Pretty sure Iris would be fine and the sex life would stabilize.

When is Oliver going to return to this show? That's the teamup we need to see. Oliver after all the fuckery in his prime going ruthless asshole in Central City is needed.

This episode was all right because Cisco's revelation. Thankfully the show's writers didn't forget about the tsunami timeline. Felicity brings it AGAIN.

We need to dissect her mic drop. I'd give her a Graduation out of Yeezus hierarchy of greatness for her mic drop. That's a 8 out of 10. She deserves the full 10 if she says it into the bee's camera. How did she let another woman tell her bees what to do?

Daredevil just came out four days ago it's not like in that time they could have just done a rewrite on this episode and then shoot again. Plus it was fun to have a cheesy episode like this right before everything hits the fan.
 
Damn Iris's character is just so poorly written and comes off as really selfish.

The only good thing coming out of this episode is Eddie and Iris breaking up. Eddie should consider himself lucky. What an irritating character Iris is.

CW Superhero shows seem to pick one character a season to make completely unlikable.

Smallville focused much of that energy on Lana, and when she left Oliver couldn't escape character assassination.

Arrow used Thea for that purpose in Season 1, Laurel in Season 2, and now Ollicity this season.

Flash is using Iris. Next season, she'll be great and another character who's perfectly fine this season will be unbearable.

Decent enough episode. The start of it was a lot of fun as we got to see Barry having fun being the Flash. Boy oh boy was that dinner scene awkward though. Poor Eddie, talk about being put in a tough position.
So many puns also ha.
 
Not the best episode... went a bit too far into cheese territory for my taste. And boring relationship drama. Maybe it's also because I just watched Daredevil.
 
Fuck Iris, man. She makes me mad, the episode was a lot of fun with all these references and bad bee puns, but Iris really is trying to arrowing the show.
 
Not the best episode but Cisco was very hot in it. Everyone else was off their game except for Joe and Cisco. There should be a Joe and Cisco spin off series. Call it Law & Science just like Law & Order.

that's the whole writing squad's fault. berlanti/guggenheim and friends. they don't know how to write anything without dragging a character through the mud in the process.

whatever, i'm sure iris will improve from this slump and we'll start shitting on somebody else after that.

felicity and ray are so great on flash though I gotta say. she really just needs to move to this series or something, her time is just completely spent on the arrow side for me.
 
Love how much better the ATOM suit is in The Flash CGI-wise than Arrow. Arrow's CGI budget is like 2 dollars and a packet of chewing gum so it does characters like him a disservice.

Fun episode overall but yeah Iris fucking sucks. Felicity is way more likeable in this show than Arrow though. Arrow just brings down everything and everyone in that show it seems.

Looking forward to seeing further consequences of Barry's time travel.

In universe, I think the legitimate worry is that Iris can't keep her mouth shut, so she'd end up like Mason Bridges, disappeared on a milk carton. She kept writing about The Flash even when it put her in danger after all. RF has already explicitly threatened her life as it is.

It's still absurd to date a cop and expect him to tell you everything about his job though. She sat and nodded to Barry's advice and then did the exact opposite like the end of Chasing Amy or a GAF relationship thread.

This not telling Iris stuff is getting out hand, if I was Eddie I would've told Barry to screw himself and spilled the beans, I aint got time for this drama.
 
If I was Barry, I woulda tell Iris that's the secret was his and he asked Eddie to keep it quiet because shit is dark and put the blame rightly back on him. As a matter of fact, if I was Eddie, I would just tell Iris that and leave out the Flash thing.
