Anyone else really curious about Ronnie's fate in the next two episodes?

Looks he's getting separated from Stein as Garber's in the spin-off and Robbie Amell isn't. Set photos have Caitlin and Ronnie getting married. Still lots of story to tell as it's looking like Caitlin gets her Killer Frost powers at the end of the season. Really hoping Amell is a series regular next year.

Wait what? Link for that last spoiler please.

I haven't read much Flash or WW comics, but ever since I start reading them I feel like Grodd would be much more appropriate as a WW villain than The Flash. It's comics and all that, but a speedster fighting a telepathic ape just seems so silly.

That being said, I was thoroughly impressed by the CGI this episode pulled off. Grodd looked amazing. Also, kudos to whoever is doing the voice.

they're much better for the arrow episodes. the flash ones usually missing the mark. although that door one is on point. how the fuck is iris just walking in on barry in costume.

Lol, it never makes sense when people just walk into the cortex at star labs and everyone is surprised they showed up.

I do wonder if we will eventually get the Grodd who eats human brains to increase his intelligence, it could be good fucked up aspect for the character in the show if they go there. Of course I also kind of wish iZombie was in this universe too despite it being a Vertigo title...

Worst Laffy Taffy flavor!
So fucking true... Disgusting.

It was talked about in what I thought was a joking manner about it being in his contract and it looks like they're just referring to that. I won't believe they're doing it until either officially announced or if a certain something happens in the finale that would open the door to it. As it stands now it would make zero sense, especially if they're writing Supergirl with the idea that Superman exists in the show's canon. Of course that hinges on whether or not Superman exists in the show beyond the description for it. No Superman makes it a lot easier and maybe makes further sense since there's no logical way Kara would be hidden for so long and only becoming active now at 24 if Clark was out there being Superman.

Supergirl definitely won't have any backdoor pilot-esque mentions in the other shows. She presumably won't even be active until something happens in her own show that makes her use her powers to save people or a person or something.

Missed opportunity for not having Routh play Superman.

During John Ostrander's run on Firestorm, Ronnie and Stein were seperated into different Firestorms. Ronnie retained the "Nuclear Man' Firestorm persona, while Stein became an elemental avatar in the spirit of Swamp Thing.

so I guess people in this thread are super cool with people lying to you for no good reason, in ways that actually endanger you and the people around you

because that's what I'm getting from all this Iris hate

Question, why didn't Barry, Snow, and Cisco went back into the hidden room and talk to Gideon for help against Dr. Wells after their cover was blown???

Joe was on point this episode, the only actor in the Arrow-verse that feels like an actual human being.

No surprised at all by some of the Iris comments around here, they also explain some dating advice threads.

so im guessing this is dc tv verson of trinity?

While I've become more and more interested in the Supergirl show, I still hope that it isn't part of the Arrowverse.

CW Trinity should be Arrow, The Flash, and a Stargirl show about a daughter finding her Dad's old vigilante gear and becoming famous.

Fantastic damn episode. Beautiful.

Iris putting in that WORK, and somehow the writers still manage to make her seem like the bad guy in the Iris/Barry relationship. "You haven't been honest with me either." I'll be honest: Fuck you Barry.

That being said, Eobard is clearly playing Eddie. Eddie has to become someone, and I'm betting Eobard is playing him into that role because he knows what sends him over the edge. Why would he piss off his only leverage? Not only his leverage, but it's also leverage AGAINST him. Unless Eobard is steering him towards a destination, I don't see the point in antagonizing him. Hell, if Eddie was feeling altruistic he could just end it, removing Eobard from existence.

Is Eobard Eddie's direct descendant? We are all acting as though he is but I don't think it's ever been stated as such in the show. If not, then Eobard could just as easily be descended from a cousin or a sibling, meaning the whole "Eddie could just kill himself" (morbid as hell, by the way guys) talk is kind of pointless. lol

He's not direct in the sense that Eddie impregnates Eobard's mom, but Eobard is in fact his descendant far down the line. And Eddie is a direct contributor of that. Eddie is probably a great-grandparent, would be my guess.

I'm not saying Eddie should kill himself, but it's clearly a possible scenario that puts Eobard's existence in danger. Unless, like I said, he's playing Eddie or he just knows that Eddie would never do that.

you need a few more greats.

assuming average birthing age of 25 you need about 19 greats or so :P

what makes an amazonian fighting a telepathic brain eating gorilla with super speed make more sense

Most comic villains dont make much sense. Grodd is a product of the silver age when apes and monkeys were cool for some reason

There's gotta be a twist on Eddie being in Eobard's line because there's no way Eddie's gonna survive another couple seasons and there's no way they'll close the book on Reverse Flash.

I'm betting on him fathering a kid he doesn't know about so he's not actually important to keep around, or he's not actually a direct ancestor.

Eddie should just get a vasectomy. Problem solved, and he stays alive.

Okay so I'm picturing Eddie doing this and Grodd/Wells kidnapping Eddie and trying to reverse the vasectomy, Grodd wearing a labcoat trying to do telepathic surgery while Wells tries going back in time but keeps making things worse.

GRODD: What happened?
WELLS: I killed Eddie's high school girlfriend, again.
GRODD: Oh, Eobard...

You just know Eddie's going to sacrifice himself. The whole line about him being the only worthless, underachieving Thawne is the perfect setup for him to become the hero.

In the comics I believe he's from the 25th century so I'd say it's likely the same in the show.

yup it's either going to be 25th or 26th century most likely depending on if they gave him an extra century for being 50 years later in real life than in the comics

Don't give Wozzly any more ideas! Lol
