Makes sense.
They shot something with several of those character, and this doesn't start shooting until January.
That, and I think chronologically, the Flash finale takes place after the Arrow finale,
so it would make little sense to bring them in while one of the two series' season is still unresolved, what with Flash and Arrow both being in each others' finales.

I feel like Flash's is after as well, not just because it's airing after; but for some reason watching Flash, it feels like weeks pass between episodes. But with Arrow, it feels like just days pass; in some cases, only hours pass, between episodes.

Yeah, there's that, too, though I think they generally tend to follow real time, except for a few exceptions, such as (Arrow spoiler)
when Thea got iced by Ra's at the end of one episode, and the next starts with Oliver discovering her dying.

Given what we've seen in the previews, though, Arrow's finale is all about
Ollie breaking free of the League,
and Flash's features
Ollie being himself again, though still wearing League garb.

With two episodes of Flash and one of Arrow left, my conjecture for the end is this: Flash teams up with Captain Cold and the other metas to take on Wells, but they fail. He then rushes off
to get help from Oliver but has to deal with the events of the Arrow finale. After they resolve that, they both immediately rush back to Central City to deal with Wells. Then there's no time for Oliver to change his outfit.

You know what I find silly, that the Flash always stops before his opponent and not just attack.

For everybody talking about Grodd, in New 52 Gorilla City citizens worship the speedforce so they are naturally fast. Also, Grodd got a hold of some speedforce batteries Barry made and gained superspeed for a while.

Oh yeah, one more thing. For all the Booster Gold talk and linking to that Justice League Unlimited episode, Andrew Kriesberg wrote that episode. He is the showrunner for The Flash. Thought that was a funny coincidence.

Same here... Because I (and millions) are already familiar with the founding members I can get into the stories more than who the new characters are, although Booster Gold stood out from the hundreds of characters they tried to introduce in the unlimited series.

EDIT: Flash related* in this episode, Vibe gets a small cameo as well
Vibe shows up in a shitload of episodes and even gets a name drop, but doesn't have a single line of dialogue, nor do you ever see him actually do anything. He's always just there.
Booster Gold has one of my favorite superhero origins. He was a football star in the future, got caught up in some family stuff and wound up getting banned for betting or shaving points. He ended up as a security guard in in a superhero museum and got inspired. He decided to steal some heroes gear from the exhibits, go back in time and become a (famous, importantly) superhero himself.

So you have this guy who really does have a good heart, but he's still always trying to be famous and stuff. He's kind of considered a bit of a joke, due to him always doing stuff like getting sponsored and being on ads for toothpaste, and also because he and Blue Beetle are always being Psych-level silly, but they do interesting stuff with his character.
Booster Gold/Blue Beetles shenanigans are best shenanigans
I bet we would have gotten Booster Gold instead of Rip Hunter in Legends of Tomorrow if the Arrow writers got their way and we're allowed to use Ted Kord instead of Ray Palmer.
I still don't like the fact that they used Ray Palmer. They changed too much about him, I feel. Isn't Mr. Terrific also like, a supergenius who owns a company and that uses high tech in his superheroics? Because he has the floating sphere bombs.

The best Booster Gold episode is the one where everyone thinks he is just doing crowd control and in reality he just saved basically the whole universe and no one will ever know about it except one woman.

Because hey, if the others are
distracting Wells he's as useful as any of them.
more along the lines of how
is he there if he's still in the middle of events in his show and he is half way across the globe, because the episode picks up where it left off.

unless they're going Realtime and a week has pass since the last Arrow episode and he's doing his thing but still somehow finds time to help Barry just before he does what he does in his episode

lol was just about to post this but clearly I was beaten to the punch.

It'll be interesting to see this team up though I'm surprised they've left heatwave out. So can we assume most of the episode will deal with the rogues with the last ten or so minutes being the fight with the reverse flash? I'm thinking it'll be something along those lines. They wouldn't have paid to bring all those guys back if they weren't going to use them much.

Very excited for this episode. Tuesday can't get here soon enough.

I think the episodes are out of sync with each other. As likely Tuesday episode will take place after Arrow's episode on Wed.

Seems like this would be the best guess. Still they could give us an explanation in the episode itself. Can't wait to see it in any event.

THIS IS GONNA BE FUN

It's so fucking stupid

If it were me, I'd have them fight Reverse Flash, lose, barely escape, and RF would return to where he is holding Eddie with micronized Atom hitching a ride. He radios the location and the real fight ensues.

I'm wondering how much plot armor oliver will be wearing under his suit. Really there's no reason why the reverse flash couldn't just break his neck in two seconds but that obviously wont happen. I am curious how the fight will end since we still have one more episode after this. In trailers we've seen where they have wells locked in the pipeline. I'm wondering if he lets himself be taken in and has some kind of plan in mind once he's locked up.

Really though I'd just prefer if they had a two hour finale next tuesday instead of making us wait but that's not going to happen.

Atom would need to get the shrinking tech installed into his suit first.

Prediction Time:

I think next week's episode will end with Barry and Zoom going back in time. The finale will be a one-episode Flashpoint, with
Caitlin as Killer Frost
as one of the changes caused by Barry travelling back in time.

Cisco will awaken as Vibe, which will explain his being able to remember the alternate timeline.

He's also from the 25th century, just like Eobard Thawne.

I don't think we'll see Flashpoint til next season. At least not til Barry gets the new suit. I think the big revelation will probably be what Wells was talking about with the "i'll never forgive you" stuff.

The timelines don't match up anymore, Arrow finale will probably be Flash getting Oliver's help.

I'm still holding on to my theory that Cisco and Caitlin have always been metahumans and Wells dampened their powers somehow. His comment about how he's made all their lives better could have definitely fit Caitlin; without Wells, she would have become Killer Frost immediately.

I'm thinking Wells gets cornered, and he removes whatever was holding their abilities back as a last trump card. They can't control themselves, so Cisco's powers disrupt Barry's connection to the Speed Force and Caitlin starts draining Firestorm. Wells uses the opportunity to escape.

It's the reason why Eobard is such a threat (besides Speed Force) is that he knows about everyone's future. He knows how to manipulate events as well as he does because he knows how things turn out, so this could very well be the case.
