What a great episode, even though Iris just walked into STAR Labs TWICE without any alarms or cameras notifying Team Flash, lol.

Grodd was terrifying, Joe's acting really sold it to me, fantastic performance. Always wanted to see Grodd vs Flash in live-action and they did it perfectly.

Did anyone else notice Wells getting crazier and crazier, particularly the hair? lol, it was really all over the place. That being said, Eddie shit his pants when Wells with the crazy red eyes came up to him haha man. And Wells trolling Eddie with "You dont even get the girl.." LOL DAMN SON YOU HAD TO GO THERE, REALLY?

So excited for the next two eps, going to be some epic shit going down (there are only 2 more eps right? :().

Yep only two more to go so you know things are going to get crazy. Personally I'm interested in seeing how they try to top this with the next season. Do they try to go bigger? Do they do something completely different? I really have no idea what they'll do and that kind of excites me.

Oh I also noticed Wells letting his hair go a bit lol. Now that he doesn't have to put on the act anymore we're seeing more of Eobard come out of him.

what makes an amazonian fighting a telepathic brain eating gorilla with super speed make more sense

Most comic villains dont make much sense. Grodd is a product of the silver age when apes and monkeys were cool for some reason

An intelligent gorilla fits much better into WW's Greek Mythology theme IMO

Here's Wonder Woman vs Gargantua, a Nazi-trained super gorilla (that show was weird)

Again vs some of Grodd's soldiers. They end up working for and living with her. (her comics are weird too)

Also, there's Giganta's golden age origin, which says she's an artificially evolved gorilla (that can grow in size for some reason). Point is, Grodd wouldn't be too out of place in Wondy's rogues gallery. :p

Who exactly is funding them now and keeping the lights on?

They just recaptured 33% of SWB with Wells self-selecting to pursue new opportunities in the workforce. Hell, it's possible it's far more than that, as I can totally see Cisco accepting payment in Twizzlers and Mountain Dew.

I thought CBS had said that there will be no cross-overs?

EDIT: Yep.
from first article

Though Supergirl will be airing on The CW’s parent network, Berlanti has already gone on record to say that the heroine exists in the same universe as the scarlet speedster and emerald archer, so we could be in for an epic cross-network crossover with The Flash and Arrow—and the superhero team-up spin-off, should it move forward.

from first article

Chairman of CBS overrides Berlanti. If CBS doesn't want any crossovers, there will be no crossovers because without CBS, the show doesn't air.

That said, I think S1 will be without crossovers with the potential for them S2 onward (assuming it makes it that far).

Bring in Booster Gold for season 2

I'm ashamed to say I don't really know anything about Booster Gold.

Everything you need to know right here.
Was my first introduction into the character

(playlist number 2 works, just have to sit thru a 20 second commercial)

It's a slight one off story, so no need to worry about plot threads from other episodes
Episode focuses mainly on BG if I remember correctly

#20 was all the mindfucks in the world

How many left for this season? need to decide if i wanna watch #21 now oe wait for a big 2-3 hours finale

Seems like Legends of Tomorrow is indeed the name of the spin-off and has been officially picked up.
Here's the info from the other topic

Rewatching... Fry from Futurama is Booster Gold's robo companion

Been a long time since I watched it but it's coming back to me now. For some reason I remember more from Justice League than I do from Unlimited. I'll have to give this show a rewatch soon. I believe it's on netflix so I'll have to get on that.

Same here... Because I (and millions) are already familiar with the founding members I can get into the stories more than who the new characters are, although Booster Gold stood out from the hundreds of characters they tried to introduce in the unlimited series.

EDIT: Flash related* in this episode, Vibe gets a small cameo as well

Booster Gold has one of my favorite superhero origins. He was a football star in the future, got caught up in some family stuff and wound up getting banned for betting or shaving points. He ended up as a security guard in in a superhero museum and got inspired. He decided to steal some heroes gear from the exhibits, go back in time and become a (famous, importantly) superhero himself.

So you have this guy who really does have a good heart, but he's still always trying to be famous and stuff. He's kind of considered a bit of a joke, due to him always doing stuff like getting sponsored and being on ads for toothpaste, and also because he and Blue Beetle are always being Psych-level silly, but they do interesting stuff with his character.

I bet we would have gotten Booster Gold instead of Rip Hunter in Legends of Tomorrow if the Arrow writers got their way and we're allowed to use Ted Kord instead of Ray Palmer.

Honestly, the plot sounds like more of a Rip Hunter thing than a Booster one.

Though you're definitely right that having Ted would increase our odds of getting Booster a lot.
