I hope Caitlin doesn't become KF until season 8 at least.

She's an enemy to The Flash and I can't stand them being enemies. :(

But maybe she'll join the Suicide Squad.

I love the Flash and am quite fond of just about every character (except maybe Iris, but at least she's extremely attractive). However, there's one thing that's been standing out for me and I was curious to see if someone else agrees. The actress who plays Caitlin is not a very good actress. I mean, she's cute and has this undeniable charm. But she's just not very convincing at expressing emotions. The episode in which she finds out Ronnie is alive was especially bad acting. Does anyone else agree or is it just me?

I've always liked Danielle Panabaker and haven't really noticed any problems with her performance here. Maybe she's had some bad days but she's fine.

I thought she was off in that episode, too, but that was the only time I saw anything than a regular performance. I chalk it up to either really bad chemistry between her and the actor or like, they had awkward trailer sex and had trouble dealing on camera.

I just started watching the show but I'm familiar with Daniel Panabaker and she is most definitely not a very good actress, certainly not an interesting one. it's CW though, so nothing too out of the ordinary.

Interesting opinion you have there. I disagree. Respectfully, of course. :)

It's the reason why Eobard is such a threat (besides Speed Force) is that he knows about everyone's future. He knows how to manipulate events as well as he does because he knows how things turn out, so this could very well be the case.

I wonder if Wells actually did figure out who the Arrow is, or did his lazy ass just went and checked in some future source :D

So what are the odds that Eddie will sacrifice himself to stop Eobard? That's certainly one way, and I feel like that's what this is leading up to. He's already been told that he doesn't amount to anything in the current timeline, so I think he might take it upon himself to end the bloodline when push comes to shove. It would be a very dark turn of events though.

I think it is more likely Oliver pulls an Iron Man at one point in the future and just comes out to the world, maybe more when they're the real Justice League.

You know, I just realized that being a genius in the future doesn't mean shit so far in the past. Like if you sent Einstein to the 16th century, he wouldn't last very long. His knowledge wouldn't matter much when everything is so primitive and reliant on working by hand.

Eobard probably has some of Eddie's juice at some safe place, should it come to this.

I don't read the comics, but could someone tell me, short, what's Eobard's beef with the Flash?

It's changed throughout the decades. At one point, he was The Flash's biggest fans and replicates the process that gave Barry his powers and even got reconstructive surgery to look like him. He decided to travel back to our time and meet The Flash but only went back far enough to when Barry had died (during the "Crisis" incident alluded to in the show). He found out at a museum that The Flash would defeat Thawne and he realized he would have to become Reverse-Flash and kill Barry himself.

Another point, the their families had been feuding for centuries

God no. I don't even want to think about a series going for that long. Absolutely not.

I'm curious as well. I'm assuming he's never met the Arrow, so he wanted to figure out who the Arrow was and then, after enough stuff was given up, he's just like "Baaaah I got you guys! I knew it was Ollie! Suck it! Suck my dick!" And then him and Shawn Michaels walk out, DX'ing it up.

Yeah. That's it.
Source.

There's another particle accelerator explosion this season judging by the promos. Or we could see a glimpse into her future via time travel.
.
THIS IS GONNA BE FUN

Comics are the best

The best part about Reverse Flash is that we're seeing his story in actual reverse, and the longer the show goes on the younger and younger Thawne will get while Barry gets older.

I love this show.

Just a FYI, if you're in the US and interested in the Funko figures check GameStop. I just got Reverse Flash from there, and they had Cold and Barry as well.

Interesting to see how the next episode is being marketed differently in Canada: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mvC3UEN9xVQ

Spoilers, obvs.

Yeah between the CW promo, the CTV promo, and the New Zealand promo we always get different looks at each new episode. Clearly the CW is betting that
the three on one fight with the reverse flash
is what will get people to tune in next week. It's certainly a big part of my hype but I'm hyped for the whole episode.

Just asked an NZ friend and he said this week's Flash promo doesn't show much different than the US promo, and that he couldn't find an Arrow one.

Didn't he get fired from his job as a security guard because Thawne stole the cosmic treadmill from the Flash exhibit on his watch?

Y'know... I'm not entirely sure. Most of knowledge of Booster Gold comes from that 52 series a while back. But that'd be pretty funny if it was linked in that way.

That would be amazeballs origin of rivarly. Wells beaten by Booster Gold..finally breaks and screams "Why are you tormenting me! Why did I ever do to you?!" And the answer is "you stole the treadmill and got me fired"

:D

You know I've been rewatching the first season of Arrow and now I'm not so sure I want Tom Cavanaugh or RF sticking around past this season as a villain. Because Tom Barrowman was fucking awesome as the Dark Archer, he just comes out with all that swag and kicks Ollie's ass setting up a nice rivalry that culminates in a really great finale. IMO he should have fucking stayed dead, his character was perfect for that one season but creating this contrivance to keep him alive has only hurt Arrow. It's hard for my brain to even wrap my head around his character even existing and anyone listening to a single thing he has to say.

This dude is responsible for HUNDREDS of deaths, he's basically the Usama Bin Laden of Starling City with his name and face vilified and probably shown every where. And yet, no one seems to notice him and no one truly reacts with the amount of disgust as they should at him. It just goes to show you too much of a good thing can hurt you. I LOVE Tom C.'s Reverse Flash but I don't wanna see him around three seasons from now in a sort love me/hate me relationship with Team Flash. Just listen to the baller Dark Archer theme and remember just how much of an awesome villain Barrowman was:

The difference is that Flash has an out so they can have Tom C AND Reverse Flash.

It's canon that Reverse Flash and Wells were different people. Just have time changed so that they're different people again, and then you have Wells back and everyone on the team suspicious of him. And shit, it's not like we ever knew much about Wells anyway - maybe he was always sketchy as fuck, or perhaps if he comes back his experiences scar him and Tom C can play a third version of someone who looks like Wells.

Whereas Arrow was... a handwave of epic proportions.

I'm watching Cavanaugh's show, Ed, and I can't stop thinking that he'll kill someone. Scrubs doesn't help either.
I hope he sticks around, the man is charming as hell.

Barry and Eobard both die in the comics but thanks to time travel and mirror universes and the like they still make appearances later on.
I wonder if Barry will kill Eobard? This Barry's morals aren't in that place, he's more like Wally in that respect. Then again Oliver is hardly an outspoken liberal.

Merlyn's an odd one. It makes sense he's kind of a bug that can't be squashed. I guess Green Arrow doesn't have a whole lot of legendary recurring threats and they need to keep his big one around.

i imagine that's the reason why they went with him being taken over by thawne.

if they somehow figure out a way to separate him from wells' body then we can still have harrison on the team.

Use spoiler tags, that's finale level stuff.
And presumably out of frame, Arthur Darvill was spotted traveling to the shoot.

Set photo.
It seems we're seeing the whole team except for maybe Jay Jackson.

That's right. I couldn't remember if
this was for the finale or some kind of pilot promo they made for the new show to test the waters
. I'm excited!

I really hope
Caty becomes the White Canary. Would be fun for her to face off against the Black Canary

I kinda want Caity to be Harbringer. Like, make it a thing that she took the form of Sara. It totally fits with the general plot of the new show.

Oh I like that idea.

If they were going for mysticism, Sara could have been The Spectre. They're not, but that would have been kinda cool.

Lately I've been going back and watching some of the earlier episodes. Is it just my imagination or has the mask of the flash suit changed since the start? Something about it just looks a bit off in the early episodes.

Well, makes sense that Cisco would update it throughout the year. Esp since the costume has been destroyed a few times now. So likely has done re-designs on it every time it came for a new suit.
