both shows can be enjoyed on their own merits and Gotham is looking good so far. it's not always a competition.

Arrow draws a lot from Nolan's Bat and this draws a lot from Raimi's Spider-Man. Works for me. I'm glad this isn't dark and gritty Flash is not that kind of hero.

post Crisis on Infinite Earths Flash (Wally West) had problems going faster than the speed of sound (700MPH) it was killing him as a matter of fact. it took a long time for him to get over that and break the light speed barrier. I guess it will be the same on this show. although some of the things he did in this episode look way faster than 700mph.
