Infinite Crisis
reference seems to be less of a "we're going to do that specific plot!" comment and rather says
"yes, we've got time travel"
and we'll get something more along the lines of
Flashpoint
instead.

Also Grodd is going to be tough to do.

Classic Planet of the Apes makeup. Lol.

I remember the creators saying they were working their way up to Grodd as that'll be one of their ultimate tests in visual effects.

Grodd is definitely something that'd be a season 2/3 type of thing.

Better safe then sorry. I agree I think that's more likely the case here. It's far more manageable on the TV scale with Arrow then the other thing. That's far to big of an event to do on TV.

But it is an easy cop-out if the ever change their mind on the movie-tv stuff. "It's just another universe!". Same could work with Spidey and The Avengers

First and in general I think they are going to use wheelchair guy as a red herring in regards to a certain super villain. Way way way to convenient.

Not sure why we are spoiler tagging speculation of comic book plots but in those regards wouldn't it be pretty awesome now that we have multiple shows to have season or multiple season long arc buildups to huge crossover comic book events and maybe even bringing back supes for a cameo.
 
Actually, fuck it: Grodd should be a big bad. He's an awesome villain, super smart and mad powerful.

Not this season of course. Pretty obvious what character that's going to be (Zoom), just not who is actually him yet.

Well, they did use Rebirth, would seem only natural for Flashpoint to follow. Still pretty sure that's Barry and Zoom fighting while young Barry watches.

Yeah, and they were thanking the new Planet of the Apes movies for doing what they're doing since their advancements with the tech will eventually be cheap enough for them to do on TV.

Flash has already had extra episodes ordered. It's not a full 22-episode season yet, but assuming ratings are strong - and the show has great buzz - it'll get the full order and potentially a second season.

The actors in those movies had to go to a special "act like a monkey" boot camp. It's pretty funny.

I just watched it and it's not as CW as I thought it would be. It could be good if they don't revert to low budget FX after the pilot. And im not really sold on the Shield agents Star Labs team. Green Arrow is apparently spider man now though.
 
So wait the rumor is somehow flash goes back in time and fights his evil alter ego and saves his 11 year old self?
 
Captain Cold is gonna bother me since he looks exactly like thathat kid from Revolution. I just can't get over it.
 
Really dug the pilot but man, I hate the overrun leaking to SHIELD.

I liked Barry, the cast seems great. Even without seeing that much of Arrow,
That cameo...

Yeah, I liked it and I'm in and I really need to see Arrow especially with Atom coming.
 
Was watching this with a few friends and we all agreed that static shock should appear on this show.


(we pretty much all agreed that this version of the origin is pretty much a bang baby version for the flash)
 
Solid pilot. The dialogue was complete shit, especially Iris' lines, which ran through every cliched on-the-nose sentiment possible. And Geoff Johns' mark was clearly all over this, tons of pointless fanservicing. But I liked the Flash effects, and always been a fan of Tom Cavanaugh so I like seeing him in a major-ish role here. Also Iris' dad's "Shut the hell up!" in the barn cracked me up. Overall promising start.
 
I'm guessing Grodd's going to be the sole gorilla enhanced by the explosion

which is a shame because gorilla city on live action telly would have been hilarious
 
Holy shit, that was fantastic. I avoided any clips and spoilers and was blown away.

I haven't read hardly DC comics so I'm a bit lost with the Crisis stuff, but who cares woo hoo!
