lolwut?

Watch Static, man. It's fine.

If they keep Grant Gustin for the JL movie(highly unlikely but one can dream) it would be perfect to have Superman come to the series for 1 episode to recruit him, the rating would go through the roof...same would go for Arrow have Afleck recruit..WB/CW gonna miss a good chance to one up Marvel..

Damn Pipe Dream.

I think the only great part of flashpoint was the concept, and that the plot itself was delivered poorly.

The first episode of Justice League cartoon was better done for example. That and, the Wonder Woman movie and other DC movies were just simply far better.

I also felt that flashpoint was forced to do the other characters no justice (no pun intended) such as
Superman's powers being immediately available to him.

Dont skip Static Shock entirely, the last few seasons were awesome.

The DC Comics preview thing...

What is happening with the faces

That last panel...

I thought Flashpoint was an ok story, only seen the animated movie. But a lot of it seems so false, like
Thomas Wayne being Batman kinda dicks on Bruce's 'origins', also based on his 'intro' fight he is the worst shot in the world, except for at the end. Thought the Aquaman vs Wonder Woman war was BS too, these are meant to be the same people who are heroes.

God damn..

I've been working on something in my own time and I promised myself I wouldn't let myself watch TV until it was done. So I finished tonight and had my FlArrow catch up...

God Damn.....

That Wells / Cisco moment is the best thing of the entire season so far. I was genuinely upset. I can't wait to own this show.

I already hate the guy in the new DC movies. This is my flash.

That's some outright BS. Especially if you are giving the green light to Beware the Batman and The Batman and I'm not saying those are bad shows. SS actually ties into the DCAU and before that it's a good show. I wouldn't even suggest skipping The Zeta Project. If one wants to get the entire DCAU under their belt those two series have to be included.

The Zeta Project is worth watching. It's not long.

Brave and the Bold is better than both The Batman and Beware the Batman. Come on.

I seriously cannot get over how good Tom Cavanagh is in this show.

In the pantheon of great TV anti heroes and villains that you almost struggle to do anything but like, some of my more modern favourites have been Ron Rifkin as Arvin Sloane, David Anders as Julian Sark, Michael Emmerson as Benjamin Linus, and James Callis as Gaius Baltar. They're different to villains like Joffrey Baratheon, who was just an out and out dick, there's humanity and greatly flawed humanity in a good villain - and Wells / Eobard is exactly that. We're not even a full season in and I can tell I'm going to love him as much as those guys.

This show has moments where I begin to question it - Cisco asking Joe why he suspected Wells in this episode was an example.. they've been over that together in several episodes! That was more a transparent reminder for the viewers about wh. suspects whom.. but cheese and writing snafus aside, the showrunners are doing an amazing job here. Amazing.

Can you imagine being a kid and watching this? It's fucking magical!

Gaius Baltar love? So nice to see.

Read the comic series. Flashpoint is alot better when it's told from multiple points of view. I thought the animated movie was pretty meh because it cuts alot of stuff while still tries to include everything.

Few minor things.

No episode on April 7th. Full steam ahead from the 14th.

Robbie Amell says he's back on The Flash soon, so roughly Ep 21.

Ep 22 is apparently called "Rogue Air" and will star Deathbolt who will first appear in Ep 19 of Arrow.

So basically what we're looking at is:

Episode 16:
Follow up from last week + The Rogues

Episode 17:
Trickster

Episode 18:
The Atom + Arrow Characters

Episode 19: ???
(Eiling and Grodd?)

Episode 20: ???

Episode 21: ???
(Firestorm?)

Episode 22:
Deathbolt + The Rogues

Episode 23:
Finale

.

Really not looking forward to this
Rogues
episode. Hope it won't be too bad.

I think I read somewhere that there will be 2 flashback episodes.

Oh man just finished last week's episode, holy shit this show is ridiculous.
Can't wait for tomorrow's episode.

Edit: I did dislike
barry kissing iris, malese jow so much better + plus iris "turned him down" like a dick.

Finally got around to watching this weeks episode. So good. What the hell with Cisco though? Dude died more yellow than Rocky Sullivan.

Cisco knew he was a goner. Literally nothing he could do except implode from betrayal and wait for death. Even if he had that frost gun in his hand with his finger on the trigger, he still wouldn't have had a chance.

On an unrelated note, people sure get salty about out-of-place romantic subplots but that's always going to be what I consider to be the "CW tax" to comic shows. It's the tax we have to pay to get a dose of the good stuff. Smallville, Arrow, Flash - all have the CW tax. Just got to roll with it.

You know, the more I think about it the more awesome it would have been.

They should have ended the episode with Cisco being killed, they have their little speech and then boom.

Black screen.

Credits.

Ending it with the time travel stuff just nullifies the entire thing. Still emotional and great as hell but man, if they had ended there.

First season is not even over and they have Flash time traveling.

That might be a mistake.

And I was right about Reverse Flash being fast enough to whip his own ass, kinda.

What do you think happens to last week's timeline
without Barry? Does Wells go batshit crazy and kill everybody? Is Wells exposed? Is Joe permanently disabled? Is Coast City underwater? No Flash means Wells is stuck permanently. This is one way to extend the season. Hopefully the writers retcon this in a way that closes the time travel loophole before this series turns into Heroes with the fuckery.

Wouldn't that make an after images of him changing clothes?

Wells did refer to the trick as an after image and a speed mirage (implying something longer lasting). It's definitely in that comic book junk science realm that doesn't really hold up to scrutiny, so don't expect this to be a thing that obeys real world physics.
