Well, the silly season this year is much better than what we had last year. Some very interesting movements happening now.

Wait, they're not?
I'm not entirely sure to be honest.

The large eyes (?) are probably just the artists style.

Also it's good to see Hulk in a car this year, although hopefully Sutil will get a seat somewhere next season.

the Toro Rosso and Force India driver lineups certainly are bold moves.
Thou i can't really wrap my mind around how FI thinks Di Resta and Hulk are a good combo.
STR doesn't have to fight at all cost for every point in a way as they have a strong backer and a secondary purpose.
But FI? Di Resta had a fairly good rookie season, Hulkenberg as well but he has been out of F1 for a year now. Both may be a tad quicker than Sutil in one or another situation, but at the end of the day Sutil will bring home the points, while with the other two i wouldn't always be so sure.

Hulkenberg was their test driver, hardly out of F1. Di Resta was much more consistent this year than Sutil IIRC. I guess I'm not following your argument much at all, the STR drivers change is a much bolder move.

Sigh, still 3 months left until the new season

Hopefully this weekend. Classes will be over and I shouldn't be at work. Sorry for being so late on this guys, I barely have time to myself anymore.

Sutil's been good at bringing home points the past two seasons, but I still have this feeling he's got his erratic tendencies just waiting to come back out at any time.

I also think Force India are thinking a bit more long-term. They dont want to get rid of Di Resta, but also realize that he's in a very good position to move to Mercedes quite soon with another good season under his belt. Hulkenberg on the other hand, doesn't really have those sort of ties with anyone. He could be more of a long-term mainstay for the team and judging by his CV, probably has a bit more potential than Sutil does.

So Far Ferrari, Williams & Red Bull said they will launch thier car before the first winter test.

Hopefully HRT get to test thier car at least once before the first race also :D

Hulk confirmed at Force India by Di Resta's twitter account.

isn't that a fake di resta account?

@GrandPrixDiary: Force India. The world waits with (nearly) baited breath. Hulkenberg, as sure as Christmas but will it be di Resta or di Roubles?

another driver clearout with Petrov replacing di Resta?

@GrandPrixDiary: And will the Force India announcement be followed straight after with Sutil at Williams? Oooh the excitement is too much.

Allright, unless Williams want another paydriver barichello or sutil would seem the most likely candidates for them to me

Confirmed drivers for next season:

RBR: Vettel & Webber

MRL: Button & Hamilton

Ferrari: Alonso & Massa

MGP: Rosberg & Schumacher

Lotus: Raikkonen & Grosjean

FIF1: Di Resta & Hulkenberg

Sauber: Kobayshi & Pérez

STR: Verge & Ricciardo

Williams: Maldonado & TBA

Caterham: Kovalainen & Trulli

HRT: de la Rosa & TBA

Marussia: Glock & Pic

Sutil to Williams would be my bet and Barrichello to HRT if he is that desperate to stay in F1.

Alguersuari to HRT is a good shout considering they are rebranding themselves into the Spanish national team.

I don't see Barichello at HRT, they already have their 'old guy' with DLR.
If he doesn't get the Williams seat he is out.

ALG or Sutil (if he doesn't get Williams) would seem likely choices for HRT i think, unless they want/need a paydriver

Off topic.

Last night I watched Senna for the first time. If you have not seen it yet, I can not recommend anything higher. It was very very good. I felt very strange going to bed after watching it last night. I was relaying the movie in my head, and I felt a strange sense of sadness.

Crazy 17 years later.

Everyone should watch the extended version.. the theatrical version is bad compared to it..

THE HULK GOT A SEAT WOOOOHHOOOO... he was my "next Kimi" .. now that Kimi is back I don't give a rat's ass, but he's my long-term Kimi now.. after Kimi retires :p

omg... this is the best silly season ever... EVER!!!!!

Trulli was probably one of the most unremarkable drivers last season, i doubt many would have noticed if only Heikki would hav raced for a weekend lol

Vettel wearing a tie! Is he 30 yet? Good thing Loeb was there to take his place as non-tie-wearer. He even got a bigger trophy.
