Time to turn on GT5 for the first time since about the week it came out, the car is available now isn't it?
Yup. I've logged in and realised I have the max amount of credits. So, I have to spend about 5mil so I get the most out of the prize money for the seasonal... otherwise I get fuck all.

20mil credit limit. Such a fucking joke, Polyphony.

congrats to Vettel, deserved WDC even if the car was in its own league, Alonso teaching Massa again how to push that not-so-good machinery to the very limit and Jenson showing he's not a one-year wonder but Hamilton was, Lewis must be raging hard inside.

thats a bit harsh on hamilton.

true, but I didn't mean to be harsh in fact Hamilton is a really good driver, but only when he has the best car he's able to display those overtakes everybody get so hyped about, when seating in some ordinary machinery to me he's no better than Jenson, Alonso, Vettel...

Oh hey, new thread.

Just caught up on the race, had to watch it on delay because of Bathurst. Great drive by Button, he really is in top driving form and I hope McLaren can give him a car that is competitive with the Red Bulls right from the first race next year.

Great race, great track!

Happy days :D Must do the event later too, wouldn't mind some credits. Might actually get me back into the game.

Will the forum be uploaded to somewhere afterwards? I really want to see it but I'm not in the UK.
you could try entering words like "download bbc f1 forum" into google and watch magic happening...

Ferrari and Webber benefited today with that safety car, otherwise i do not think that Alonso would manage to get past Vettel.

Force India lost their race with SC according to DiResta (destroyed their race strategy), so they lost points to Sauber and Renault.

My favorite moment of the BBC forum - Button discussing Vettel pushing him on the grass:

Button: "How can you not see a big silver car in your mirrors?"
Brundle: "You mean like in Canada?"

Conclusion - Brundle is awesome.

These two gifs made my morning. Vettel is just such a likable guy. Best F1 forum this year by the BBC. I almost forgive them for screwing up the drivers conference post race.

Man the Japanese sure know how to set up one hell of a GP. I'm kinda glad the championship ended here on such an amazing circuit.

Well done to Vettel, Button and Alonso.

It was a good F1 Forum by the sounds of it, I'll have to watch it later.

Vettel has deserved this championship to be fair, he has hardly put a foot wrong all season. I just hope the remaining races this season are as competitive as this and that the championship is a bit closer next year.

Worst season for Hamilton in his F1 carrier, I think it is all mentally for him.
Definitely, but I think (and hope) he'll bounce back.

I certainly wouldn't call him a one-year wonder as mentioned earlier.

Really, really hoping that Webber can do something from here on in for 2011. Although Button deserves second more, a strong finish by the #2 will give me hope for next season.

Because you thought that he might *not* get one championship point this race?

Yeah I doubt that anyone had any other expectation than Vettel securing the championship.

He is a very talented driver, he is no less than Vettle, Alonso or Button, but this year he seemed too distracted during races and keeps on loosing focus all the time.

Would have been nice to find out for myself when its broadcast in a couple of hours.
Fair enough, but he's finished every race this season and his lowest position has been fourth. I hate to ruin it for you, but he finished at *least* tenth.

Its going to be tough thats for sure. Button has been phenomenal for Mclaren this year, his driving better than he ever has and seems to be in the best form of his life. When Button arrived at Mclaren it was all about whether he could match Hamilton in the same car, his proved that this year and not only that his constantly finishing above and outperforming Lewis this year.

I think next year will be the year Jensons maturity rubs off on Lewis and McLaren will be the better for it.

Yep. Schumacher was number 1 btw. Congrats to Schumi on his first victory since 2006! Balls of Steel on driving with 2 stop! His tyres were bursting in the end!

I was most impressed by Webber coming back to take second after flying through the air like that! Awesome stuff.

What are you on about, man? Clearly Webber won otherwise I would've topped myself and would not be posting here now.

You didn't see that he was pipped on the line? He came close, but no victory. :(

Fucking damnit. I bet if he was driving with all four wheels and a front wing he would've won.

Apparently you were watching a different race to me because Maldonado dominated the entire field.

If by "dominated" you mean "rammed" and by "the entire field" you mean "Hamilton repeatedly", then we watched the same race.

Can't forget that golden moment with Kimi throwing ice lollies onto the track from the grandstand.

Watching the race now, the BBC front page spoiled the result but I'm not too bothered. Sounds like a good race and the best forum ever?
