Speaking from the US, the only experience I've had with BBC coverage is from bootleg-ass streams. It's pretty great, but F1 is worth adapting for. I've only known coverage with commercials and some occasionally questionable broadcasting, while having to wake up at ungodly hours to catch it live, and with the exception of four delayed races per year it's on a channel I have to pay extra for. BBC coverage is nice, but the circus will go on.
