fuck yeah, back to valencia setup according to bernie
Interesting, the teams win a battle with the FIA?

So, the teams are now wondering whether to use inters or slicks? The back of the track is wet, so not a go as yet for slicks according to Button.

20 mins to go, this race will be eventful, bless our glorious weather!

Can you imagine Patrick commentating on F1? F1 with a thespian touch. Drool.

i wouldnt even care what is happening on the track, his voice alone would make it sound interesting.

I would pay double my license fee for this to happen.

Anyway, the tyres will be an interesting choice, will people go for slicks and hope for the best? I would go for it and hope the track dries but I'm not out there.

Anyway, one signature for this diffuser issue? Why can I see that signature being Charlie Whiting's...

Edit: British GP, Brass band playing the national anthem, soggy track in places? Yep, we do ceremonies all right!

Webber always seems more relaxed than most of the others, Di Resta was good too

So all of these rule changes have been for nothing. :\ So retarded.
Not for nothing... it made a shambles of this weekend.

Yup, absolutely raped McLaren :(

They just need to not do mid-season rule changes. They didn't with F Duct last year...
I think Whiting has become drunk with power. This season has seen him go from the bloke who does the starts to some sort of arbiter of all things technical in F1 and he's decided to go mad on this diffuser issue to prove a point.

I hope common sense prevails and F1 doesn't become a sport where all innovations are stopped because one person decides not to like them.

I still find it odd that they've changed the layout of the track (well, where you start). That was one hell of a lap in those conditions though from Webber.

I'm quite optimistic about this race for some reason. I'll see you ladies on the other side.

Much easier to build a new pit in a clear bit of track than demolish one and start again I think.

It also means they have 2 pits for different events too, although I will say I will miss the run down to Copse as the start of the race.

I'm not sure the new 'layout' will create any first-lap excitement though, the cars will be too spread out when they get to the Arena section.

Well 5 minutes to go, let's go tyre spotting! The weather throws a spanner in the works, but you'd be brave to bet against an RBR win (even if not Vettel himself) today.

Anyway, as always, come join the chat for the British GP: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/F1GAF

Yeah, me too, but can't be worse than Valenica anyway. Also, I expect Vettel and Hamilton to be out after one lap.
