I'd go with the RB6, although the livery is getting pretty stale now.

I wish they'd liven it up a bit and use one of their other brand colours:

Wait, is TR going light blue?

I like it.

Edit: I guess they were going with the other colours when they had Red Bull Cola on the rear wing, just that it's still red and blue.

Edit #2: They're Bridgestone tyres. I guess it's just a mock-up :(

^ Seriously. I think I'm in love with that colour... it's just different. Ricciardo to make an appearance in it maybe?

No, it's just a mock-up done a few years ago.

It would be great if they did add some variety to their liveries.
I think I want to find/make that skin for F1 2010. Shit would look awesome in-game.

Red Bull may just be a beverage company but their livery looks great on just about everything.

The RB is a sexy car but I think Ferrari is the best looking on the grid. The McLaren this year just looks awful. Those sidepods may be effective but my god they are ugly.

So I got the first DNF bet right with Maldonaldo, did not expect that xD

As this is my first time playing the F1 Racing league, I was wondering weather I should sit on the team I have for as long as possible or try to upgrade each race? I'm relatively comfortable with having Toro Rosso but the Sauber team are looking good so hedging Toro Rosso and Sauber seems like a good idea but I want to know if should wait or not.

Btw, McLaren looks best in person, don't judge the car by it's photos.

You crazy. That's ugly, the current Red Bull is a stunning car.

Just caught up with the replay on iPlayer last night. Was a good race, but McLaren need to work on their starts, both Lewis and Jenson had poor starts. Hopefully it was driver error and not something to do with the car.

Anyway, I set up a bunch of bets the night before and made £32 over all! Hopefully I will get a better return next weekend.

I like how they've tried to tie in the top of the sponsor's logo with the design by lining it up, but when it came to blending in the rest of the logo they've clearly gone "fuck it" and just done what they wanted.

It's as if they already knew just how much race-time visibility that helmet would get!

Edit: Holy shit, was going to say that my fave is Heidfeld's as well, with Perez coming a close second, based on sheer simplicity. Hammy's gave me a massive Senna vibe.

Hamilton's and Button's helmet have always been very distinctive from the rest of the pack. Heidfeld's looks awesome with the new Lotus-Renault livery.

What's up with F1 drivers having such terrible helmet designs? I think all of them look terrible with Felipe's being somewhat decent.

Those two words should never be uttered in the same sentence, under any circumstances ;)

The McLaren drivers have the best looking helmets, the best looking car, and the best looking livery.

2011 WDC/CC confirmed.

IIRC doesn't Lewis' brother have some sort of disability? Either way, he's tiny!

Nothing really compares to the helmet designs of yesteryears in my opinion. Back when drivers actually kept their designs for more than a few seasons and even their whole careers.

François Cevert's is certainly one of the most iconic.

Some others from that particular era of F1.

I'm pretty sure hamiltons contract expires at the end of 2012 as well as button, Alonso & massa so 2013 should be interesting

I can't see Ferrari letting go of Alonso, he dragged the F10 to 2nd in the driver's world championship and as much as I hate to say it he is what Ferrari needed when they forced Schumacher into retirement and not pay $50 million a year for Kimi. McLaren can't afford to lose Hamilton and they are a big enough team to offer a big contract, the only way I could see red Bull going for Hamilton is if Mercedes manage to get Vettel.

Indeed it does, but if McLaren win the WDC or CC this year, I doubt Hamilton will leave. It's important to note that in every year, except 2009, Hamilton has been in the championship fight.

well it would be crazy for any team to not want Hammy

I'd go as far as to say that he's more desired than Vettel.

Where would he go though?

Ferrari: Doubtful, as long as Alonso's there, although it would be glorious to see.
Red Bull: Vettel's their golden boy, and I don't see Red Bull wanting to replace him. If it were to happen, then the intra-team battle between those two could end end worse than the current silliness with Webber, Helmut Marko etc.
Mercedes: Will they be any better than McLaren? If they continue to fail Mercedes may abandon ship, sooner rather than later.
Renault: Haven't been at the sharp end of the grid since 2006, this year's car is the best they've produced since that glory period, could they provide Lewis with a competitive car year in, year out? Not likely.

He's better off staying at McLaren for the foreseeable future.

Much more desired than Vettel. Alonso, Hamilton and Schumacher, because he a has won the WDC seven times, are the generally considered top tier drivers in F1.

Vettel is a quick driver but you can't help but feel if the car made him look better than he was last season.

eh, Vettel is still super young and he is an amazing amazing qualifier which is probably worth more than anything else in the current f1

Until we see Vettel in a sub-par car, it was always the car that carried him.

This is most likely what will happen.

But RBR haven't made it a secret that they want Hamilton. Webber is easily replaceable, and I'm pretty sure Vettel and Hamilton have a decent amount of respect for each other (thinking back to the post race press conference in Abu Dhabi here).

Although my heart would sink if I saw Hamilton in anything other than a McLaren.

Personally, I think he's just as quick as Lewis and Fernando, but lacks the race craft of those two at the moment. But he is young and has time to develop.
