My favourite part of the F1 weekend is the period right before the podium presentations, where the three drivers chat about the race. It's awesome that the mics pick up on that stuff now.

lol at Webber & Alonso, Fernando had to drive the last 10 laps saving fuel to the max, he barely made it!
Yeah, now I get why he didn't push at the end. 2nd place is still very good.

AND NO VETTEL ON THE PODIUM!

God, I hate those shitty Santander sponsor trophies.

You need to have enough fuel at the end to get a fuel sample, he would have stopped before they were dry though.
I doubt the car is completely dry.

Vettel having a bit of luck despite driving like an old lady.

Perfect race by Hamilton. When at balance he seems just a tad bit less aggressive which makes his attacks more clean and his tires less destroyed.

The following races will be interesting if Ferrari and McLaren can stay on par. There will be a huge fight at the front like today, and Vettel will probably be hesitant to join it.

Yeah, respect to Alonso for making it to the end of the race. Good work to come second despite running in fuel saving mode. Lewis couldn't do it at Silverstone.

A lot of schadenfreude at the German grand prix, shame Ferrari's pit stops are such pure shite that Vettel didn't lose a few extra points. Hoping there will be no penalties for Alonso running out of fuel, would be a crap end to what was a competitive race.

Best race! Many overtakes and action all over the place.

Pity Massa has the worst pit crew. Weird strategies in previous prix and a stupid error right at the end.

Great drving from the top three. Would love a pic of Alonso and Webber at the end!

Loved the bit where Webber carried Alonso back to the podium/pits.

Missed about 2/5 of the race, was eating crabs with my two bare hands.

WAS DELICIOUS.

He crossed the line with the engine on, there can't be a penalty. Alonso had a great race so punishing him for running out fuel after the finish line wouldn't go down well.

It's okay, Massa lost his nuts long before that.

Was this before or after he gained a nut (in his helmet) two years ago?

LOL @ Webber with the subtle shots at his employee....

"I did everything I could...we got exposed a bit strategy wise...we all know what we need to improve on."

Yeah, I peep game...can't say I blame him, team's been fucking him over for a couple years now.

Except this time it's not Mansell & Senna.

If this doesn't get me into the top 50 on F1RM, then I don't know what will.

EDIT: Ooo, only a week until Hungary.

Guys, guys. Rule number 1 in racing: the race ends at the checkered flag. They only need enough fuel for a sample, that's why they turned off the car. Calm down, there will be no penalty.

Bloody hope not.

Next, Hungary!

Mclaren leap forward is quite massive, new floor is working wonders with old EBD rules.

Great race by Sutil.

Was that Massa driving or some other driver posing as Massa?

It's actually quite funny. My GT5 league race at Nurburging GP had exactly the same situation at the top 3 as todays race :lol

Felipe of old disappeared after his accident in 2009. It's a great shame.

Even as a Ferrari fan....that would be the greatest thing ever just to see the reaction

Haha, agreed...

Even when Massa goes really well you guys keep bashing him. Massa's hatin' machine at full power, YAY!

I'm not a Massa fan, but I recognize full well it was Ferrari who messed him up today (AGAIN).

BTW, on the subject of race trophies...

...easily the greatest race trophy of all time. Boss avatar, my man.

Take solace in the fact that Spa and Monza are the first two races after the summer break.

*Drools*

Shame we have by far the worst track of the season up in a week. Monaco without the sightlines (or the babes).
