notice whete vettel is looking during the entire slide. the same spot as if he wasnt sliding. the sign of true talent. most drivers would of been unseytled and focused on stopping the slide asap. not vettel. he used that momentum perfectly. most drivers would of spun out when the car came back aroundnon the last section of ascari.

Vettel made my day.

I wish the ban on in-season testing was lifted.

This season has been boring which is the biggest compliment I can give to RBR and Vettel.

Hell no!!

in no way was this season boring, and i dont like the idea of people testing their way to a way to be fast.

The championship fight is boring. It doesn't make or break the season but it definately could have been more interesting if it was as exciting as last year.

And qualifying was a lot more fun previous years then it is now.

Hamilton is making so much stupid mistakes for the last 2 seasons.
He's lost his edge. He had this confidence and arrogance in his first two seasons that he just hasn't regained since that really shit season in 09. It sucks because that Lewis was just so much fun to watch. When's the last time we've seen Lewis fly over a curb or graze the wall on an exit? He's just not the same driver any more.

Just like Alonso lost his edge in 2008 and 2009, right?

Hamilton will crash into vettel in the first corner, or will brake his suspension in turn 3.
Would spice up the championship a bit and provide some supreme entertainment on the board. We can only hope!

Must've cocked up somewhere in sector 3 as he was fastest through the first two.
He could have got second even with the mistake, but I think he deliberately pitted to keep third place to avoid the dirty side of the grid.

He does not seem very calm in the actual races, like he is a bit off his balance from frustration. The China Grandprix this year was classic Hamilton. His qualifying in Nurburgring was awesome.

And you don't just talent your way out of a 240 kmph oversteer. Sometimes they can be saved, many times not. Vettel probably crapped his pants a little.

How long has McLaren been wearing black?

Since Friday.

McLaren sponsor Hugo Boss has been running a competition where the best fan made entry will become the drivers overalls for the qualifying of each race. A different design each race.

They have their normal overalls on Sundays though.

By the way:

One thousand posts! Whoop.

He (Hamilton) know, he lost ~40-50 points with his shit this year.

Yes. Alonso in that Renault did not have the same fire and commitment of the previous seasons. He's a completely rejuvenated driver and you can see just how hard he's pushing Ferrari with his comments every weekend.

After the Spa performance and general performance this season and performance during FP this weekend people are still surprised Vettel is on pole?

That's almost like being shocked the sun rises every morning.

Thats what im talking about, it was the best looking car in that era, i dont get why they went for silver.
Silver was a Merc thing, but now that Merc has their own team there isn't really much reason to stay silver for McL

mmmmm test colors

I am as well, not only is red bull in front, but by half a second.

RB and Seb have done this already this season. The difference this time is that its Monza. It leaves no possible weakness on the car in terms of track layout.

Well at least Alonso admitted he was using Massa, good old Massa, anyway I kind of see this being a bit similar to spa. Vettel leads and runs away for a bit Lewis tries to catch and does something silly to compromise his race with Alonso bolting then falling prey in the later stages. Then Vettel, Mark and Jenson benefiting from circumstances and picking up the spoils at the end.

Maybe he'd benefit from a change of scenery, but there's no space for him at either Red Bull or Ferrari (unless they oust Massa) and Mercedes just aren't delivering the goods.
