What is this with Hamilton just wanting to finish, he also said it in the interview yesterday that he does not want to take any risks.

I think he'll manage a start this time, just because he is further back. One thing's for sure, if he doesn't blast the throttle off the line (The last 2 races he has under revved the engine and hit anti-stall), he needs a right slap.

Anyway, I missed Qualifying as I was at Santa Pod, but Vettel being .5s ahead doesn't bode well. I hope Hamilton can get the jump on him off the line, that should mix it up a little at least.
Yeah, he needs to at least have a bad start for a different reason this time!

And then in the top 3 by the end of the race.
Ugh, that frustrates me no end. If he can consistently finish well when he (effectively) starts almost mid-field, why doesn't he ever win?

Rhetorical question. It's just frustrating :(

What? Okay, never mind me.

Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo has ended recent speculation about Felipe Massa’s future at the Italian team, by confirming that the driver line-up will remain unchanged for the 2012 season.

In recent weeks, drivers such as Mark Webber and Jenson Button had been linked to the seat but di Montezemolo put an end to them quash rumours on Tuesday.

Speaking to Sky Sports Italia, di Montezemolo said: “Massa and Alonso always bring something more. Alonso is super, Massa is coming back: I think the drivers are not a problem. This is the time for gossip, but next year’s drivers will remain Alonso and Massa.”

You think Ferrari will still sign Massa with the results he's getting? I don't know, I kinda got the impression that they won't. Unless he doesn't want to do anything but work for Alonso.

Regardless of the fact that Massa secured a contract for next year long ago (not that it means much at Ferrari), he's a much safer option than Kubica.

Schumacher to be at least 4th by the end of the first lap.

Mercedes straight line speed plus his awesome starts will hopefully bode well here.

The only thing that matters is Lewis kicking Vettel in out in the first lap. Lewis can finish his race after that.

I'd kill to be in that sim, once I am in it, it'll probably kill me.

I have always wondered about this, when drivers go to other teams do they bring their engineer with them? I mean over the course of a year or 2 you get used together, that it has to be hard to adjust to a new engineer right?
