I can't wait for Newey to leave RBR, just to see how they progress when he's gone.
Newey is one of the highest paid people in F!, he earns more than most drivers on the grid. He won't be leaving for a while.

It makes no difference, he's got to retire eventually.

Where would he go if he were to leave Red Bull? He‘s won championships with Williams and McLaren, so there‘s no reason to go back to them. Ferrari seems the obvious choice, but somehow I doubt it. I guess he could just retire and enjoy his racing hobby.

Ferrari made an approach to try to get him last year and probably offered a very big salary. I think he is enjoying his work at Red Bull, he has turned a mid-tier team owned by an energy drink firm into the team to beat in F1, that has to be more satisfying than going to Ferrari or staying at McLaren and winning a championship using large budgets and endless resources.

#1 guess would be to start his own team.

I don't know about you guys but that was a very boring qualification for me. I hope the race will be better.

Massa didnt do a lap in the final part of qualifying due to mechanical troubles, he was hardly destroyed.
idiots like you make me laugh.
Massa didnt dio a lap because HE fucked it up.

From the man himself:

As for my Q3, I only had one set of soft tyres left, but in my attempt I slightly locked a tire coming out a bit wide in my approach.

Destroyed SON.

I don't think him owning a team is good in any way. He already has all the creative freedom he wants in Red Bull. Him being team owner would just add further responsibilities that would take away from his main focus as an engineer.

Domenicali's under huge pressure right now, I could see him being ousted very soon. Then there could be other personal changes, specifically in the technical department (Aldo Costa and Nicholas Tombazis). A mass upheaval is what a lot of the Tifosi want right now.

You should be more respectful, mate.

If you use torrents I can give you an invite code to Demonoid. I use that site to download HD versions of BBC's coverage, because I don't have BBC HD.

Same here. Been using demonoid, but would love a better alternative.
What?! Why in the world would you use such a colossally inferior torrent site?

I'm truly shocked. I thought everyone knew about Racing Underground by now. Wow!

I'm willing to give you two each an invite if you'd like. Shoot me a PM if you're interested.

I was disappointed to see Hamilton go back out for a second run in Q3. I was really hoping that he would save those tires for the race. :(

And here's a new picture for the Vettel-lovers out there...

Stupid fantasy stuff. Spend all my cash to upgrade to Kobiyashi and this is how the most exciting driver in the field rewards me??? :< Dude better dust like 15 people in the race.

I can see him performing the most overtakes in the race, if he doesn't crash out in the early stages.

Only RBR and Mercedes did that.
Will Webber screw up his start? I say YES

I actually have a good feeling about his start for some reason. It's his highest quali this season, it will be his best start (though admittedly, that's not saying much).
